Sending prayers your way. We had a Boxer at the age of 3 that we spent $8,000 on to save. Every animal deserves a chance they are part of the family. Best of luck and we will pray for you and Binx.
 
Hoping Binx pulls through! I had to put my Siamese, Cleo, to sleep a month ago today after having her 15 1/2 years & I miss her so much. Hope the transfusion works & your vet bills dont get too high. Do you by chance have a Snow White POMH? If so, PM me & maybe we can work something out. Good luck to you & Binx!
 
When I lost my cat after 20 years, he was creamated and put in a cherry wood chest. When I got him back, this poem was in the envelope with his tag. It may not help, but it got me thru a rough patch.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I am really sad to read this. As a cat owner myself I know what you are going through. My cat was really ill 2 years ago, (she is now in heaven), and it is so upsetting when they are poorly.

I am wishing Binx a speedy recovery, I really do hope he will get better soon, life is really unfair.

Just spoke to Dr Blease, sadly :cry: he's 199.9% sure it's lymphoma marrow cancer, but to be sure one more CBC to rule out that it is just a severe reaction . His white blood cells are 61000 which is very high . His other cell count isn't much better . I'm afraid I'm going to be saying good bye and until we meet again . :cry:

Thanks, I had a thought and nothing from doctor yet, but I called with this thought . Binx didn't get sick till I gave him Introcept (spelling) a flea & tick medication that I put on the back of his neck that I got from the vets . They were going to pass the info on to the tech .
Going to take a nap as I'm not feeling good either . I'm having a bad breathing day today .

The flea/tick medication might be the culprit. Guess you'll have to see what the vet says.

Bump : next , 4 mystery grab bags , 10 pins each $25.00 each with $3.00 shipping . Some may be on cards , most are CME , vinylmation pin , pt52 and retired racks such as Mickey with tail .
