Hi everyone!!! I've replied to all PM's 
if i did not get yours there seems to be some PM's not getting sent. My internet has been messing up. Can I ask everyone a favor please? If you bought pins for me and purchased them already. Sent me a list with the pins you bought and your address I sent one yesterday to get it to her before she leaves everyone else will be going out today or Monday. The holidays make everything impossible sometimes!

Disney On Classic: Beauty and the Beast Rose Jar

It wasn't until recently that I discovered Disney On Classic, another treasure that Japan offers it's Disney fans. Disney On Classic is a traveling show of vocalists and an orchestra that perform Disney musical pieces. While I have not had the luxury to experience the show in person I did manage to find some great recordings on youtube. I will admit that I would not have uncovered this show if it weren't for a pin. We are all constantly looking for pins to add to our beloved collections. I happened across this beautiful piece in search of expanding my rose jar collection. After a little digging I uncovered the Disney On Classic show and how these pins were distributed. The Disney On Classic pins were never sold and could only be obtained by a ticket holder winning a lottery. This pin released in 2010 features the rose jar and a gold dangle with the words Disney On Classic. The pin itself is striking with sapphire, jade and turquoise shards creating a mosaic glass jar topped with a delicate knob. In the center floats the rose. The petals are a soft red hue and the stem a light shade of green with darker thorns. The leaves and petals are slightly wilted but the rose is still intact and somewhat somber. The entire pin is outlined in gold giving it an elegant finish. Being entirely beautiful and somewhat dark and wonderful, this piece speaks to the heart of Beauty and the Beast. While japan pins are known for their unique artistic interpretations, I find this pin an exquisite rendition of the iconic rose jar. The back has a smooth finish with the ©Disney NOT FOR SALE HJ. The dangle piece has a sand textured back and is attached with small gold loops creating a three ring chain. While this pin is limited edition, the official size is unknown at this time. We do know that the series of Disney On Classic pins released in 2011 had five designs divided into a limited edition of 300. Making each design an edition size of only 60! If we apply the same method to this pin it is truly a rare find. Very little information is available about these pins and they were most likely given to people who do not collect, leaving these treasures to an unknown fate. I have stumbled upon yet another pin mystery and I suggest everyone pull out their magnifying glasses and go on a hunt of your own to find your Disney On Classic pin and uncover a true gem. I give this pin 5 out of 5 stars.
