WDW August Pin Event - Animation Celebration

I was trying to remember...was the cart inside the trading area, or inside the registration area? In other words, are we going to need badges, or can we shop first? I'm asking because I don't remember the cart being there. I remember it being at PTNs, and I vaguely remember it being there those years we had an active PTN during the evenings on Thursday (like, that started at 7) so they could sell the PTN pins before they moved them to the RSPs...but I have no memory of it the last few years.
Which way it is will make a big difference as to when I get there.
I am NOT built for early mornings....I'm going to run out of juice around 2 PM if I have to get up too early.

Alas, the mystery theme is not anything that has been mentioned here on this thread since I posted my 'tease' last week. I can tell you it is a mystery box set of 12 LR pins related to a Pixar movie. That, my pin friends, is all I can say about the offering itself. Our cart will be open at 10am on the 23rd. As for getting there early I will have, I think, 500 boxes of this particular offering so you can plan yourself accordingly.

Okay, this bit of news tells me I can stand down. There are a few Pixar characters I dabble with, but nothing so serious I have to stress. Is it a Character Connection set? When I hear Pixar and potential chaos, I would think Up. In which case, I apologize to all our Up collectors for joking about a 10-pin WDI Up set in the Box Lunch discussion. It may not be WDI, but an Up mystery set is still way harder than Box Lunch pins.
After some research! The last LR pin release surrounding a certain film was the Peter Pan NeverLand Map, which was also a 12 pin set. So I'm wondering if this is another R/C set. I could easily see a coral reef scene with Nemo.

If it is an Inside Out set I will die a little inside, and then beg all y'all to get me boxes.
If it’s not wall-e or incredibles (as pilotprincess collects those and I’ll be there before her) I’ll grab you boxes if I get there early enough. I highly doubt this release would be for Ratatouille, which is my favorite Pixar film, or Brave, so I’m good. Let me know!

Ok. 1) who will adopt me for this event cause I feel like a lost puppy dog just in the conversation much less at the event 
2) thank goodness Moana is Animation Studios
3) how much do these boxes run? Same price as like the puzzle pieces for the aristocats and such? I need to know how many organs to sell off prior to the event in case it’s something I collect (like Incredibles!!!)
4) if you see two people that look lost at the event it’s probably me and my mom, stop and talk we love making new friends and unless you have a blinking banner above your head with your forum name I will be clueless that it’s some of my newly made pin friends!
The closer this gets the more nervous I get! Is that a reasonable way to feel?

The great thing about the event is that you learn there are a lot more traders like you than you think. My main goal at these is always to work on mystery sets. Little late now, but that's why its good to get the event mystery sets. On the first day, people are always asking if you have any for trade. Even if they are not your collection, the chasers will be in demand and you always have people who only need 1 character and so didn't want to buy boxes, then it's a great way to break the ice and start digging around in people's books.
Does your Mom have a Pinpics? I found yours and you have an Orange Bird mystery pin I need, and I have a couple pins that are on your wants.
Going mystery pin hunting is a great suggestion!

She doesn’t have a pinpics. She barely pin trades lol but has started it because she sees how much fun I have lol. Is you me pinpics the same? I can definitely pull him out for you!

Yep, I am hopemax on Pinpics. Except for my "incredibly long, 'how can there be that many pins I want' extended Wants list" which is hopemaxall. (useful for those who are interested in something I have, but don't have a match on my main account.)

It will be a fun experience. My first year that I attended an event (Pixar Party), I went by myself. This was before I was active in this forum and I didn't know anyone. It was a good experience.
Pretty much everyone I talked to or traded with was nice. I only made a few trades, but I made a few pin friends there. We traded at different times during the year. Some people told me no and I told others no when working on a trade. It was all good. I did make a few nice traders and completed some mystery collections.
I enjoyed looking at the collections. And people's brag or show lanyards. It's fun so have fun.

I realize you can't say much more in order to keep it a surprise, but hopefully you can answer just this one question - Does it have LE chasers?
