The idea for a chat room roundtable was broached also asked was when members thought a good time to hold it might be?
A suggestion was made on both sides of the coin, alternating times and days or consistent time and days<ie every Fri at 10pmest, or this week Fri 10pmest and next Weds 7amest. to allow maximum attendance worldwide, cuz DPF is worldwide,>

A>Mon am/pm every week

B>Tues am/pm every week

c.>Weds am/pm every week

D> Thus am/pm every week

E> FRi am/pm every week

F> Sat am/pm every week


G> Alternating schedules from week to week.

Yeah, I'm in the alternate side of the pool just because lately my weeks have not had a steady schedule. Every week is different so it's hard to say one day and time that would be good every week.
 
I went the Ralph Nader route because I couldn't pick a side and figured I'd split the vote between last two options... I just wanted the "I voted" sticker.

I like having a set day with two alternate times one that can accommodate both sides of the world. A set day (saturday or sunday preferred) would be good since we are all creatures of habit. I just don't think a single time could be found for everyone.
 
While alternating times and days would allow more different people to attend, it would make it harder as well. a set time every week would be much more productive. Evenings PST is morning in Europe and UK, so an evening on Sunday might be the best route to accomadate everyone.

Weekly seems a bit much. I kinda think once a month is plenty. I am sure newer folks can come into chat anytime and ask questions. I answer lots of "newbie" questions, and so do other regulars in chat.
 
I just picked a day Wed, because of my work schedule I'll miss many, especially if they change from week to week, at least having a steady date would make it easier to know when and if I happen to be off I at least will know when it will happen.
 
ironically... i have been on the forum for quite awhile.. and have yet to be able to get into chat. So for me.. it isnt' helpful.. but i like being able to read what people discuss in an open forum...so maybe a recap?
