The AMC I went to didn't hand out posters!! How freaking lame! D:

I am a HUGE Thor and Loki fan though...I have quite the collection brewing lol. I do rather hate how a lot of people are only going to see these movies for Tom Hiddleston. He is absolutely lovely both on screen and in person, but he is not the only thing I go for. I love all of the actors, the story, the costumes, everything. Thor is such a large and expansive universe!

I pre-ordered the Hot Toys Loki from BBTS and they cancelled it, so I never got one. I am still pretty peeved about it :/ If anyone knows where I can get one for $300 or less please let me know. I really want him for my collection!

I would assume they will be making another Loki though. If not for this film, then at a later date, because he will be back.

Yesssss that Loki is signed by Tom Hiddleston. Even though I complained about people going to see the movie only for him, I still find him to be astounding and I have a huge omega crush on him lol. I was fortunate enough to meet him about a year and a half ago (wow its been so long already!).

:eek:, wow! I love you collection! I am in search of a Loki Figure from hot toys as well. It might be hard to find for under $300 now because his character keeps gaining in popularity. Have you seen the new Thor figures from Hot Toys? They are up on sideshow, they are even better than the first two that hot toys put out!

That is cool you got to meet Tom Hiddleston! But I kinda know what you mean about people only going to see the movie for Tom Hiddleston. My sister is crazy over Tom Hiddleston but she really isn't a Marvel fan. She only likes Thor and really the Avengers for Tom Hiddleston. I like them because I'm a Marvel nerd! LOL However, I think it would still be awesome to meet the cast one day. I'm hoping to go to Comic Con this coming year, so may be they will have a panel for Guardians of the Galaxy! I'm really looking forward to that movie!!
 
Yeah I hope I can find one! I e-mailed the company I pre-ordered him from to see if they can do anything about the cancellation. It was only $205!! Lol.
Yes the new Thor is definitely a must have. I am in love with that cloak! He looks so heroic in it I can't get over it! And the figure looks so pose-able! Much better than the previous ones!

I'm psyched for Guardians of the Galaxy! And just about all of the upcoming films lol. I am a bit disgruntled with the direction they are taking Age of Ultron (Avengers 2), but I know it will still turn out excellently. I mean they took a weird approach to the Dark Elves in Thor: The Dark World and I was still more than pleased, so I have high hopes!

Yeah Tom Hiddleston has quite the cult following! He really has the sweetest heart though, he's a great guy. Its hard not to love him! But sometimes the way he portrays Loki is strange. I know its a combination of him, the script, and the director, but I cringe at some of his lines. Others I absolutely adore though. Its like ice and fire lol! He did really well at being mischievous in this film, it was nice to see Loki's true character come through!
 
Wow! Great collection and that's cool that you met Tom! Thorsday was a lot of fun and the fans were cool. The AMC I was at eventually just gave people extras so I got both Thor and Loki posters! Thor 2 was good and I enjoy everyone's performance, and Marvel will be taking its time as it eases into the big arc storyline with Thanos. (Also saw a great preview of Winter Soldier!!) I also think they'll make another Loki Hot Toys Figure too and I'll keep on the lookout for any reasonably price ones for you guys.
 
Okay, well this is pretty upsetting moment that I feel like I should share cause well it's pretty embarrassing haha!!

So, I went to D23 this year and I was wandering around the floor (I didnt drink enough coffee so I was pretty out of it), and before I knew it a bunch of girls were following me and giggling and I had no idea why..so I turn my head and walking next to me was Tom Hiddleston!! He had been walking next to me for a good 10 minutes and when I finally realized it was him, he touched my shoulder and said "thanks for the cover up!" winked..and took off since more girls were starting to follow him..I stood there in such shock I didnt really know what to do. hahaha!!

Well, here's the only picture I was able to get haha!! :cry:

Wow! Haha, that is pretty amazing! Standing next to Tom Hiddleston and not even realizing it! It is still a pretty cool story to tell though! I really need to see Thor tomorrow!

Hot Toys might be making another Loki, I don't see why they wouldn't. They made 4 Thor Hot Toys......so they should at least make 2 of Loki. I was hoping they would make a lot more figures from Thor too. I'd love to have the cast! However, I'm not sure if they will do that or not...hope they do!
 
I just got back from watching Thor....it was AWESOME!!!! I can't wait until the third one comes out! I'm really liking the Thor series a lot, I'm thinking Avengers and Thor are my two favorites right now. However, the trailer for Cap is looking really good too....Ah Marvel! I love how they have changed it up and are making awesome films! So looking forward to the next Marvel film!
 
I saw Thor yesterday as well and I really enjoyed it! Loki is my favorite <3 They didn't have any posters at my theatre, but I did get this collectible cup with a thor topper action figure. I kinda wish they had a Loki one too!

I'm really hoping I can go to comic-con next year. I've actually never been before because I never had the money to go. Now that I do, I'm so nervous about getting tickets. I've heard all the horror stories of people being locked out of the system and by the time they get in the tickets are gone. Has anyone gone before that can give me some info about getting tickets? Just like tips and stuff, if there are any.....haha, the comic-con stories sometimes sound like how fast the Disney LE pins go! And I've never been successful at getting a pin so I don't want it to be a repeat for comic-con!

For those of you who have seen Thor, what did you think? I was not that impressed with the first one, but admit the previews of the second one looked much better. Is it good?
 
I enjoyed the second one too! The characters are more fleshed out, we see another side to one of the characters that we didn't expect, and of course some fun easter egg moments and action scenes! The acting and the comedy is better in this one too. Now I'm looking forward to Agents of Shield and see how the events of this movie affects them!
 
I'm wondering why there hasn't been a Jane made into doll form yet????? Mattel would do a good job, make her a limited edition doll;) I would hold out for the hottoys Loki, there will definitely be another one made and it will be better than the first;) I pre ordered the new Thor, he so much more detailed than the first one ( that's the one I have)
 
I'm just worried they won't make another Loki....may be I shouldn't be. But they didn't make one of him for the First film and I find it strange they have only put out the two Thor figures for the new film....

I pre-ordered both of the new Thor figures. Of course the only reason I could do that is because they won't be out until next year. That way I have time to save up the money! LOL
 
Lol yes me too!! I had a hulk on pre order as well but when he became available, I didn't have the money:( I'll make sure I have the money for this one:) I like that BBTS let's ya pre order and not pay till the item is available. Especially after all these disney dolls, my bank account needs to recoup!
 
Huh BBTS is already sold-out of all their pre-orders for the Thor figures....however, at Sideshow, where I buy from, they still have their pre-order for Thor up....I wonder why one store sold-out already?? Where is BBTS located?
 
BBTS usually sell their items a bit cheaper than sideshow. I think they're in the northeast region or midwest, I need to check again. While they are cheaper, BBTS get their stock from sideshow and will have to wait a few weeks after sideshow sells and send out their own orders.
 
Yeah but BBTS also doesn't give you any notification that your card info mysteriously disappeared from file and then they cancel your pre-order >.> I am NEVER doing business with them again.
 
Ah I see, Thor was listed as the same price at BBTS and at Sideshow. They do have a lot of stuff though! I can see my bank account just shivering at the moment lol

Good luck getting tickets this year! I'll be trying once again..it'll be my 21st year going haha! and every year the horror stories to get worse and the stories around the convention about different panels and different giveaways are also horrible! I've seen and heard it all! It's SO crazy!

I would say tickets go fast if not faster than these Disney items..SO CRAZY!! but hopefully you can come and join the fandom!! :)
 
Lucky! I can't even make it through registration lol. It's that hard to get into. Hopefully one of my friend,s who will be having panels will help me acquire one, but yeah I heard all sorts of stories about the lines, not being able to attend panels because they're already filled and the long line for exclusives!
