Actually, Disney wants us to be very knowledgeable about all the products in the store. They encourage us to take advantage of the visual books to see which products are coming and to check whether or not we can put them out on the floor. I once had a seasonal CM ask me if we had any Dora the Explorer stuff in the back :eek2: lol
It is disappointing when there are others who don't know the products well or these characters from the movies. It makes us look bad and the company look bad.But there is always room for improvement. :hsd: and Disney is smart for re-releasing movies and releasing products from those movies, it helps people get familiarized with their characters. :naughty:
But every CM has access to all the backroom stock and is responsible for getting product out there. There are actually a lot of people who aren't familiar with Mother Gothel's name. They don't really mention her name a lot in the movie, heck I didn't even know Gothel was her name either until I saw that we got a surprise shipment in of the LE Gothel Doll last year.:angel: But now I know :salute:
Stores should be getting these products in soon. Some get them earlier than others, so everyone will just have to keep checking in with their stores. Each Disney Store is different, and some stores get in more products or exclusive products than other stores. I'm not exactly sure why, my managers say it's based on volume. :wiggle: But it's kind of a pain traveling to different Disney Stores to get certain items.
