Pins for Sale for a Good Cause - UPDATED - See Posts 20-22
Hi Everyone,
My friend Darliene Field is selling off her pins and other Disney items to raise money to bury her husbands ashes. Darliene and David Field were the victims of a terrible crime in August. This information was written by one of her friends that was working with her at Disneyland.

A dear friend of mine has been the victim of a vicious and horrific attack this past Saturday in her home, her name is Darliene Field.
We used to work together at Disneyland, when I was in college. We were paid about $5 an hour, which really sucked at the time, because although we were Goofy and Donald walking around in Toon Town getting swamped by guests, we were barely making it by each week. In order to make ends meet, we would work 16+ hours a day, if extra shifts opened up, because overtime would mean the difference between Top Ramen, or real food that week during those early college years.
It was a fun place to work, but at times it was very challenging and mostly due to the endless expectations of customer service, especially during the over-crowded busy holidays and summer months. Still, Darliene would always make me laugh and go out of her way to make every single guest feel like they were truly meeting a character from the Fab Five. She was a never ending stream of joy and laughter and it would always be great to see her name on my work schedule, as she helped those tiring double-shift go by so much faster...and then when we worked on Christmas holidays, she would make everyone feel like they were working with family.
Tragically, this past weekend, Darliene's home was invaded. She was held at gun point by an intruder looking to rob her family. Dave tackled the man to saver her life, but he was shot and killed by the gunman at point blank range. The criminal then fled the scene, leaving her world and her life in complete disarray.
As you can imagine, her life has been devastated by this senseless act of violence. Darliene has brought so much joy and happiness to so many people, most of who will never know her name - they will just have pictures of her up in their house and photo albums as Mickey Mouse....or Donald Duck. I'm asking anyone out there who can find it in their heart to help to please donate a dollar or two to the memorial fund for Darliene and her husband. She is not one who would ever ask for support, but I know deep down that this is someone who truly does need a helping hand during these difficult times.

Darliene is not asking for donations, but if you would like to that would be very nice. Instead, Darliene has asked me to put her pins and other Disney collectibles up on the forum for sale. Here are pictures of the pins. I still need to put together a price list. But if you see something you like please let me know and I will figure out a price for you. Any payments will be made directly to the memorial fund email above. Shipping will be $3.00 a pin plus $0.50 for each additional pin.
