sorry ghesh! I just thought it would be a fun time for you guys.... i am all the way in jersey and i thought it would be fun that's all... idk if it is fun or not to do line ups...sorry for putting in my two cents
 
Pin-a-colada, When I last spoke to my fiance (Who went because I couldn't), it was only Frontierland in disneyland that had them I heard. DTD sold out in minutes, and Little green men sold out to the first few people bc they bought 25 each. But he said it looked like it was going to sell out to the line there. My suggestion is to call the number that people were using. Or maybe check DCA? Good luck though!! <3

yeah, he said it was crazy, but the frontierland store handled it really well and most people were nice about it. Only about 1 person before him (He was like 7 or 8 in line) bought the full 25. I managed to get my 4, so I'm happy :D
 
Sold out at Pin Traders, DLH, Californian and Paradise Pier. Not sure about in the park but hear that DTD had the most and several.ppl in line were turned away.
 
Awww, I'm sad. My trip there this weekend is tomorrow night. I only want two of them, though, so I guess I'll have to try and trade for them...
 
i heard that wdw either got sent the same amount as we did, or they got 3,000 boxes while we got around 1,500 boxes.

It ended up being a limit of two boxes per reveal at DTD, so 10 boxes total per person limit. Other places seemed to have the 25 box limit.

I was in line at LGM and there were 3 people there that got what sounded like 75 boxes of Cinderella and Aurora, thus ruining my sister's & friend's chances of trying to get 5 of each princess.

And those would be the boxes with Merida and Rapunzel in them...
 
I'm a bit apalled to hear rumors that supposedly some individuals here on the forum were deliberately feeding wrong information about the release to deter other pin traders and collectors from coming so they could get more of the ones they wanted. That's not cool... that's actually down right rotten and I REALLY am going to try and cling to the hope that it didn't go down that way and hopefully no one did such a spiteful thing. I'd like to believe no one would be that awful, call me naive. Also, am not pointing any fingers or passing judgement. This is just what I heard...

Hardcore is not an insult or in any way negative, its hardcore because on top of paying for the pins you are buying a night at a hotel just to get into the park early and buy the pins, thats what makes it hardcore
