So I was able to snag another one of these, and now I need to find out what I want to do with it. So I created this poll.

Pin 84800: DLR - Ariel's Undersea Adventure - Collectors Set

#84797 - Ursula
#84798 - Prince Eric and Ariel

#84801 - Ariel Dancing (Completer Pin)
#84802 - Scuttle (Completer Pin)
#84803 - Prince Eric and Ariel Wedding (Completer Pin)
 
Some people may only collect certain ones and wouldn't be interested in the whole set. Plus, there are others, like me, who don't have grail worthy traders who might be able to bid on one, when it'd be pretty hopeless to try to bid on an entire set. :)

Looking at t/w ratios, there are pins in the set that have better numbers than the whole thing.
 
Dont put it up for auction at all, donate it to me instead! :P I never will have any traders worth this set no matter how badly we want it. :) just want to wish you good luck! Hope you get amazing pins for it!
 
Normally I would definitely say keep it as a set since the box is so nice and I'd hate to see the box broken up. HOWEVER, as others have said, some of the pins alone having better T/W ratios than the whole thing together so I think it'd be smarter to break them up in the end. If someone really wants the whole set, I guess they'll have to bid on each of them individually? IDK. You could always run an auction where you people can bid on either the whole set or individuals and then at the end you decide whether you like the best bid for the whole set or the best bids for each pin.
 
I would say split it, there are so many pins and os others have said, some will fetch more interst than others. If you do split I would suggest doing individual auctions, if you do a bid on 1 or a whole i see it getting very complicated.
 
Like Matt said, I think it's a good idea to offer it as bids for single pins or bids for the whole set. You would have two different leader boards with small ones within the breakup of the set. If that made any sense. I did that for my brave set (gave options) and it did well :)
 
Usually it kills me to see a set get broken up, but in this case I think it would be more beneficial for you. Auctioning one at a time will allow more people the opportunity to bid, and give you more options. :)
 
I can't vote for either option as I don't agree with the statements. Personally there is only one pin I want from this set, the rest be damned :rofl:
 
OH WOW>.. Nice. Either way, you will get great bids.. BUT.. less people are able to carry the set as not everyone has your wants pins.. BUT if you break it up.. you will get more of your wants and more members able to bid. Just sayin. LOL Good luck with it whatever you plan to do.
