Gah! You guys are making me worried. Still no shipping email and the account info still just says "Active". Balls. This is taking forever! :anxious:
 
Well at least both of ours say Active and not Closed with no shipping info! I really wonder how they print shipping labels...I wonder if its by order number or name....
 
I was able to get the belle designer couple doll online and im waiting to hear back from Disney corperate about my Ursula situation.............. wish me some luck folks!
 
My orders have shipped and I have been given tracking numbers!! Ursula and Eric are on their way.

So excited! Probably wont be getting them until Monday though. Oh well at least they have been shipped. To those that are still waiting, hopefully they ship out by tomorrow as it may be too late for more shipments to go out today, good luck and hopefully you hear something soon. I guess if it is any consolation at least the orders have not been cancelled, if they were to be cancelled they would have already been cancelled by now.

What happened to your Ursula? Sorry I know I must have read it but I cannot remember, was that because the box was damaged when you brought it home? Hopefully Disney does something about that, even if it means that they just replace the box. Because it is a box and it is not the limited item so surely they should one around right?

Sadly, in the past they have not offered to replace just the box. They may offer to replace the entire doll with the box. My LE Cinderella came with a somewhat damaged doll box but inside a pristine brown shipper box, indicating that the damage was caused at the Disney Store factory. They only offered to replace the entire doll with the box if I shipped the damaged one back. Ultimately, I declined and they offered an online GC.

Yes. It was Very unfortunate, (pun intended lol) when I removed the front cover to display her there was a rip from the side to the back of the interior cardboard. its not noticeable with the front cover on, however im hoping for at least a damage credit of some sort. and that's that I had picked her out as she was the very best doll out of what they had. I was defiantly caught up in the frenzy and excitement I didn't notice the box at all.

I know how it can be, to be honest Disney should have reserves for things like that, especially since they should be ensuring that for limited edition items that are supposed to be flawless they would ensure that nothing is damaged. I find that even more frustrating when they are not as helpful when it comes to damaged or poor quality products and yet they are so happy to take your money.

Hopefully they do resolve it for you or compensate you at the very least. Maybe if any stores near you still has the display doll you could ask to replace the backing? Mind you it would be a lot of effort changing the backing as I believe that the dolls are held down to it. Either way good luck and I hope they resolve it for you soon!
 
I really can't believe that some people already have Ursula and Eric listed for sale on Ebay. I get that people have the right to sell whatever they please and that's fine and I am even used to the fact that people put collectible items up for pre-sale, but some of these sellers claim to have the dolls in hand! That is where to me it gets ridiculous. Here we are stressing and hoping that we get the dolls that we want at retail price because we want them for our collection and people already have the doll, how? Someone made an argument that everyone has a fair shot at getting the dolls and I expressed that this was not necessarily true because of how many people these crazy re-sellers use in order to get multiple dolls for sale, but having the dolls in hand even before the doll is on sale is not a fair shot at all! This truly brakes my heart, we are already a couple of dolls short in being able to obtain these dolls while other people have them and they don't even care about the actual dolls. :cry:

ok so this comment is from like.. pg 115.. but if an ebay seller is saying in hand and able to ship, and you know there is no way that is possible... IF the description does not say "presale" or something to that effect.... REPORT THEM.
 
Has anyone in the UK who ordered with standard delivery had their Little Mermaid doll(s) shipped yet?

now thats fine for my eric ursula and belle and beast orders as thats where theyre supposed to go but my ariel has already been shipped and my email said to my current address so it wont effect that right because my order history says my dads adress now for her too? and i also pre ordered the anna elsa pack for infinity and its changed too.

should i call?

You should notice that the order totals should have fixed itself up now. In relation to the shipping and billing addresses being the same that happened to me for my Ursula and Eric order but they are still shipping it to the original order I had originally put it under when I processed my order.

Thing is for me, my shipping and billing address are completely different as they are in two different countries so when I noticed that it said it was shipping to me here in Australia I was surprised and thought it a glitch because I did not pay anything for shipping (as I used the free shipping code within the US). However when I received my tracking details it says it is shipping to my US address so I would assume that the warehouse has the correct details.

So I wouldnt worry too much as I think it is just a system error (note that even if you were to call the Disney Store they would just repeat what you see on screen in relation to the addresses) however for peace of mind you could always give them a call to let them know so that they are aware of it. But other than that I wouldnt worry too much.
 
okay cool thank you! :) glad to know its not just me that has seen this and that its just an error in the website rather than an error in the actual shipping process

Both my LE Ariel & LE Eric arrived damaged... I was promised sufficient packaging, but for some reason it was overlooked for the billionth time. Here we go again... :(

Ariel was was water damaged, because the UPS guy left it out in the rain & Eric has creases & dents in his packaging due to the skintight shipment box. I really wish they wouldn't ship it direct-from-manufacturer to me, as they usually arrive damaged that way. This happened with my LE Cinderella & DS had to send me a new one with sufficient packaging. It really ruins the excitement of receiving a beautiful LE item in the first place.

Sorry to hear that Babydoll, they probably wont replace it because it is just the box but hopefully you will get credit for it.

I dont like UPS at all, they are by far the worst courier company. Earlier this week I asked if they could deliver it home instead of to my office because I was working from home that day and they said they had to make an attempted delivery first. Thing is there would be people at work and they would be able to sign for the package. The lady was like oh dont worry they wont leave the package there unless you sign for it. But low and behold they still left the package there. I ever said I bet you anything they will leave it there and they did. I was so angry with UPS for there lack of understanding and their rigid and silly rules.

They would not even let me pick up the package from their facility, they said they have to attempt to deliver it first which was just silly. That is why if I know that it is coming UPS I just get it delivered to work so that they physically hand it to me. Still that doesnt stop them from treating the packages poorly.

I know this is probably not the right time to ask this but how did you get the Eric so quickly? Did you select a faster shipping method? As I thought that they only do one form of international shipping at the Disney Store US.

Not sure if somebody mentioned here on the forums but ... I would love the idea for Disney to put out a Rococo princess line. Whether it would be 17" or 12". Saw these on tumblr a long time ago but always love the style & idea for it. I mean there's just 6 for example but it would be nice to have the rest of the princesses.

My friend, I don't think we'll be getting them Monday- it's a public holiday here. Which makes me sad because I'm sure Ariel is due then :( .

Oh and someone a few pages back mentioned they didn't think a gaston le doll is plausible because of his body shape. But they made fat ursula so surely they could do muscley gaston! Haha
 
PrinceAli...OH MY GOD I WOULD DIE! I am someone that LIVES for detail. If they did them super well, all those tiny and large details would make me have to have the entire set. I LOVE that style. Seriously, it is a combination of fashion that is entirely composed of special details...and they look like giant living birthday cakes. Win/Win/Win/Win/Win. If they dared to do the Villains in that style...yeah, they have more of a chance of looking odd and off...but I would pretty much just mail my credit card to the Disney Store headquarters.
