I got a text from Steve yesterday saying "I have something that Nathan gave me to give to you." I was like... :confused: okay... It was so unexpected, I didn't know what to think, but in my mind I was thinking, Wow, that's so sweet of Nathan...while having no clue what it was.

Later on, I'm handed this pin:

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!

A state of shock would be an understatement. Those who know me know that this was my ultimate, holiest of all my holy grails. It may not be the rarest of pins (it's LE500), but because it was being sold at the Ziegfeld while the movie played there temporarily, my guess is that it was snatched up mostly by tourists and general Disney fans, and very few pin traders. I know a couple of fellow PatF collectors who own it, but I had never even seen it, which led me to believe that it would never be mine. This and the Walt Disney Studios pin are my favorite Princess and the Frog pins because I think they are just beautifully designed. And now, thanks to the Amazing Nathan (Nathan95), this beauty is MINE!

Thank you again so so so so much, Nathan!!! I seriously cannot stop staring at it!!!

Now my two favorites are together at last! I've never framed any of my pins before, but I may have to frame these.

Congrats Kristen. Nathan traded for it at STYD in NJ and I saw it the first night (once he had already traded for it) and died :lol: I wanted to get it for you so bad but...it was already your's lol I'm so glad he managed to get it for you so now your siggy can be reduced to 4 pins :D
 
Kristin was at work when I gave it to her...she just stood there, behind the counter, staring at the pin without moving for what seemed like forever. I though she was going to get into trouble for not working :D

Thank you! Unfortunately, I still have a long way to go, but now that I have my most wanted, I'm just going to enjoy tracking the others down. ;)

haha I thought I must have been dreaming. I was having trouble processing it...actually, I still am. :lol: And yes, it's a good thing my manager didn't pass by. ;)
