That is expected but then again not everyone will go rushing in to buy Aurora at high prices on the secondary market, I have a feeling that the secondary market will get flooded with Auroras and as a result it will drive her price down. If Ariel, Eric and Ursula are selling for less than $200 I would imagine Aurora would be the same.
I think you will find that even if she sells out very quickly she will be up on the secondary market and will probably sell for only around $200 at most initially before slowly increasing as a result of fewer dolls being on the market. By the way dont forget that the market is still full of Tinker Bells and Zarina's they just did not sell very well on the secondary market and right now you can buy one for less than $100 which isnt too bad at all.
The one who I think will be harder will definitely be Maleficent, I think she may go up to the $300 price right away.
It is all about supply and demand, yes the dolls may sell out fast and yes they may get listed at ridiculous prices but that does not mean that they will sell. Just because the Frozen dolls sold for such a high price that does not mean that will be the case for the others as well. I mean even after the Frozen hype you have some dolls like Cindy, Ariel and Wedding Rapunzel that are not breaking the bank to buy.
Then again that will also depend on what the doll looks like and if it is executed well or not.
Excellent points, and I really do hope I am wrong. and who knows, Disney may just bump the numbers up which will mean more people will get a fair chance at owning them. But until we know more it's all going to be speculation. As for me, I just want Maleficent and because she will more than likely be the harder to get of the two I am planning my attack now!
