I thought you could all use a break from Tink and Jessica. Today's patriotic pin features Ray from The Princess and the Frog. This pin came from the DSF.

More patriotism today. I was after this Tinker Bell pin for years. I missed it on Disneyshopping.com when it was released and then missed it in numerous ebay auctions and pin forum sales. Finally I acquired it last year. I am glad to finally own it.

So this week I am going to concentrate on some of the pins I got at the Pacific Northwest Mousemeet. The PNWMM is a local Disneyana convention that just had their 6th event. Past guests have included Disney Legends like Bob Gurr, Marty Sklar, Bill Farmer, Tony Anselmo, Paige O'Hara, Tony Baxter and more. They had a couple of pin vendors. But even better, this year was a good year for trading. They had a pin board that had a lot of legit pins on it. I did not see any scrappers. Though there probably was some. This Dale pin was a gift to D23 members for renewing in 2011. This was a trade a pin, get a pin type board.

Thanks. I should note that not all the pins are part of my collection. I have purchased pins in the past for others. So some of them are with other people.

Anyway, here is the 2012 D23 pin that does with yesterday's pin. This one has Chip.

The next pin is kind of interesting. In 2006 to 2007 the Experience Music Project in Seattle hosted an exhibit on Disney music. It was called Disney: The Music Behind the Magic. They sold this nice half-dollar sized Mickey pin there. Now pinpics says it is an OE, but everyone I talked to at the EMP said it was Le500. So who knows. It is one of the few times that an exclusive pin has been available up here. I bought a few back then and even put some on lanyards in Disneyland. I found another on the pin board and grabbed it.

Here is another pin from the board. This Donald Duck scouting pin came as part of the membership kit for the Walt Disney Collectors Society.

This Mickey I got for trading with a friend at the meet. This was the last one I need to complete the Dapper Dans set with Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto.

Sorry I am running late today. I was trying to decide what to post. See I got 2 more official Disney pin from the PNWMM, but I kind of want to save them for when I complete the set. In the meanwhile, here is an official PNWMM pin and an official Disney pin bag.
