Would anyone be interested in a tsum tsum trade auction? I have a complete set of The Little Mermaid tsums (bought individually from Target), and I've been thinking of auctioning them off here on the forum. You could bid pins, other tsums, artwork - whatever!

Oh I totally understand where you are coming from. I mean I love the thought of seeing new tsums tsums, but I only collect a few from each wave depending on the characters and film. The thought of tsums tsums coming out every other Tuesday for a whole year though...yikes. On the bright side, the Star Wars ones will probably always be available, so you can always get them later! I haven't even gotten around to buying any of the tsums from the Pooh or Lion King sets myself just because I am trying to cut back on spending so much of my money on these types of things.
 
I feel kind of guilty, since this is the first really exciting subscription box they've come out with. But she insisted.

The snowball effect is why pretty much from the start I told myself I would only get the tsums of my truly favorite characters and movies. Inside Out and Lion King are the only full sets I've gotten, and the only other full set I ever plan to get is if they ever release a Robin Hood set. It's just too much to keep up with, especially with so many overseas exclusives. Otherwise I just cherrypick favorite characters from their sets, like Nick and Judy and the upcoming Hawkeye.
 
I'm sure Disney will come up with something you can give her and return her kindness. For now, just be happy about it, for I'm sure she gave them to you to make you happy. :)

I'm very late but anyway, this collection and the whole display is very sweet!
 
I'm kind of surprised how quiet the release was here on the forums lol. It looks like only Darth Vader, C-3PO, Wicket, and Boba Fett sold out. All the other characters are still in stock. I myself actually decided not to buy any this morning mainly because I didn't want to spend that much money at once. I have decided that once Vader goes back in stock, I will probably buy just Luke and Vader for now and maybe get some of the other characters later (like Yoda).

Also, Tangled really is the first March release! I gotta say though that I am a little disappointed in how they look. Flynn in particular REALLY could have been better (like giving him one winking eye with a raised eye brow). Rapunzel looks great though.

I agree - Flynn doesn't quite look like himself. He looks like Cinderella's prince. They could have given him his floppy parted bangs and made his hair longer. And the winking eye and eye brow raise would have been perfect! Give him his smolder, lol. And...where is his little goatee? Is it just not visible from that angle? :/

Rapunzel's cute, but the lower-half color of her dress seems a little off (same with the Pascal wearing the dress). It should be more purple, right? It looks like blue-violet. I think Max is the best-looking! Very cute. ^^

Mother Gothel looks rather tired, lol. They should have given her some eye shadow or something, like the Ursula tsum.

LOL, I, too, thought it was odd that the forum remained virtually silent concerning the Star Wars release. Usually collectors are posting the links and what not, but there wasn't a beep to be seen here.

Regarding the Tangled looks... What The Helsinki? Did the production team even watch the movie? Why is it us fans know exactly what would've been the best way to portray a character and yet Disney insists on keeping artists that produce offal. UGH! :mad:

You're right, the colors are all wrong. I'm so disappointed, too, because I was still holding out that Disney would get their shift together and fix them into something way more cute. :sigh:
 
Tangled is one of my favourite movies, so I know I'm going to get at least one. I think Max is adorable. Even though they're not the best, I still love Rapunzel and Pascal. I think I would be sad if I didn't own them (they're the two characters I've desperately wanted in the game and just got them two days ago).
 
Just Rapunzel and Max for me next month, Flynn definitely doesn't look like himself and the Pascal and Mother Gothel designs are a little boring imo.

The Disney Parks Blog just announced some exciting Tsum Tsum news! The Pirates of the Caribbean Tsum Tsum set will be arriving on Feb 26th and also Tsum Tsums will finally be available inside the parks!

The PotC set will include 7 very cute Tsum Tsums as seen in the picture above!

Here is a list of the locations that Tsum Tsums will be available starting February 26th:

Today Lion King Tsum Tsums have arrived at Clinton's in the UK! Since the 3rd party Tsums in the US (Target, JCPenney, etc) normally are the same as Clinton's hopefully Lion King Tsums will arrive soon at Target, etc in the US.

Like many of the 3rd party sets, the Lion King set only has a sub-set of the Tsums originally released at the Disney Store. Included are:


  • Simba
  • Nala
  • Timon
  • Pumbaa
  • Rafiki
  • Scar

I crumbled like the cookie I am and bought the set from overseas that I said I wouldn't. The Mickey/Minnie/Pluto/Goofy who are dressed like cats but are not cats are the softest thing I have ever felt. It's like holding a ball of down.

I know I'm probably biased, but out of all of the tsum tsum movie sets Disney has released, I think the LK set has been the cutest.

I don't really want to buy it and be stuck again with some tsum to sell / trade...
 
Yep, the Bunny. I forgot that US hasn't announced them, only Europe. But I'm pretty sure US is gonna get them too...
I wish JP set had a Minnie, I like their custom more... :-D

I'm looking to trade one pair of Monkeys (Donald & Daisy or Chip & Dale) for that Bunny Minnie and US Birthday Minnie. I don't really like either of them enough to buy them so I prefer to trade, but I'm not sure if I will be lucky enough.... If I cannot maybe I'll finally buy the basket but not sure. It's not easy to sell the rest of them later even at cost because of shipping cost from here...
 
If you get the Easter basket, I'd buy the Pooh and Eeyore from you. I don't have any Tsums to trade, but my girlfriend loves Winnie the Pooh and she loves the Pooh set that I got her from disneystore.com.

I'm not sure yet if I will buy it but in that case both Pooh and Eeyore will be around 17-22€ (euros) depending on the basket price (not really sure how much it will cost), shipped with tracking number, of course.
Mickey will be around 10,50-13€ (euros) if someone is interested.
That's the same price that a JP tsum will have from a reseller (around 11$ each) but my prices are without profit...
If I'm honest it's so expensive for some tsums avaliable in your country, so maybe it's better to buy the basket yourself... On the other hand, I don'tt know how much will be the basket, maybe is more expensive....

The rumor is that price will be $34,95 :-O
I have calculated those prices thinking about 20-30€ If it's 35€ will be more :-(
