2018 PTD Discussion Thread - UPDATED 12/18/2018

My ultimate would be Animal from Muppet Babies playing the drums with ice cream on his face.

I'm pretty excited about Chilly, and will definitely be adding him to my collection. It does make me wonder with Skylar and now Chilly (plus Lambie, and Stuffy) where the heck are Elena and Doc McStuffins?! I want to see main characters too! Also, I really want more Jake and the Neverland Pirates like the Izzy, Cubby, the Pirate Princess, and Marina.

On an unrelated note, more book and movie Pixie Hollow fairies PTDs need to be made. I'd flip out for Dulcie, Fira, or Queen Clarion!

I don’t know if it’s a far off fever dream, but Star Vs the Forces of Evil would make me get to LA in .5 seconds. ESPECIALLY for Tom.

Honestly, I liked Toodles until he started talking. Then he just became irritating. Also, I preferred the first few seasons of MM Clubhouse with the original Mickey voice. The voice for the second half of the show just seemed too high-pitched for my liking.
 
alright, based on the way the last three sets have gone I am going with:

Phineas and Ferb, Fed from Big Hero 6, and Cheshire Cat

or

Gumi Bears, Maui, Figaro

Seriously, there have been a lot of cats lately.

But if they bust out a Wuzzel, you will probably hear me scream. I totally see Elaroo with a sundae.

Does anyone else think that now would be the perfect time for DSF to release the next set, while everyone is focusing on the Animation Celebration event? ;)

It's pretty much guaranteed that the next set is coming in the next few days (since the release is on Friday morning), it's just a matter of when.
 
I'm still just excited to know that my sojourn into Hollywood was not wasted--I got a Chilly PTD all by my little self. And the fluffing thing sold out the next day, which means I was near risk for being utterly skunked. Ha ha. There could be nothing worse than making a one-time-opportunity trip to DSF and finding out that there were no PTDs available. :D

Exactly that happened to me a few weeks ago. We were unexpectedly in L.A. for Easter. And spent two full hours in traffic getting there. And paid $20 for parking.

Good ice cream though. And I at least got some Star Wars and Marvel LEs.

It was fine. I'm not a huge ice cream person, so BFF and I split the sundae (and still couldn't finish it, because we'd eaten a full prime rib meal followed by a souffle earlier, ha). I did like the Mickey sprinkles, though. :p

Hmm, we paid $2 for parking. At Hollywood and Highland across the street. With validation from DSF. Thanks to keen advice from members of this forum. (Pro tip: ALWAYS ask for expert advice! Ha ha.)
