BAD TRADE (podms) NEED ADVICE
If you use Paypal for labels (and I do) it is only $1.64 incl. delivery confirmation. Why take chances ?
This is how I do all mine, I thought everyone did! Except I do mine from work, but other than that, same thing.
You can also get Avery labels that are the size & shape of the shipping labels that print, so that you don't have to tape them on. Those are a bit expensive though, and kind of annoying because it's two labels to a sheet but I haven't figure out how to make paypal *not* print the receipt part on the bottom half, so it wastes a label every time. (USPS.com lets you print without the receipt part, but they won't let you do First Class online, so I only use USPS.com when I want to send by Priority Mail.)
For the longest time we couldn't figure out how to make PayPal stop printing the receipt part onto the second label until we realized it's in the settings area! LOL!
It was a pinpics trade and i checked the reference and the email was listed alot so i thought it was a safe trade :/
Sorry for being off topic, but how do you check the reference?? I've traded and people said they added a reference to me. I don't know how to check it/find mine or anybody else's. Please help.
There is a link titled "Dizpin News". Here you can go to the old Dizpin database. One of the tabs at the top will say "Reference Center". Click that link, and it will direct you to where you can either check references or add a reference using the other trader's email.
Here is the direct link to the ref center: http://www.rnrcollectables.com/referencemain.htm Hope this helps!
Agreed! C'mon people, this is the 21st century.
Traders will rip you off as much as they when they get the chance.
Happened to me on a multi trade. I sent an ENTIRE Haunted Mansion Queue set.
They never responded to me. After a while I started receiving TA requests from them but they never responded either.
I haven't contacted PinPics because I didn't keep the e-mails. They're long gone. Oh well. :'(
Just a tip for future trades on pin pics, I never send mine out until I get a tracking number from the person I'm trading with .
I agree with Gillian. I do use tracking numbers, but unless it's discussed and agreed to, it's not okay to intentionally send your pin after the other person! That's called holding pins hostage and in my book is a no-no.
I'm sorry this happened to you! I made a trade within the last month and the other person has received their pin, but I've yet to receive theirs. They've keep in contact at least, but it's still disappointing. Even if they send my pin back, I still paid money to ship them my pin in the first place. =/

sent a pinpics a notice
Now what just play the waiting game or is their more I should be doing?

I'll give it a week or two before I do something like that
Hi
I bought pins from someone in Texas off Dizpins a couple years ago, they cashed my check
and I never got my pins..
i just don't understand why can't people just BE RESPONSABLE and act like adults, seriously, i can not go to sleep knowing i owe someone something, it kills me, that is why when people tell me to get a pin and they will work something out later one for it, i can't take it because i feel like the pin is not mine until i have give them something back(unless it is a gift). all i can say, is stay positive and hopeful that this person acts like a person and sends you your pin soon, but do file complain and stuff with pinpics... hope everything gets sorted out soon.
I love using paypal shipping labels. So inexpensive, and the delivery confirmation is automatically included for free. I almost always bring them down to the post office just to make sure they are manually scanned, but dropping them in the mailing boxes works as well (they just don't always show up as fast).
I'm so sorry to hear about your trading issues, dawny and kpchow. It is just absolutely sickening when someone betrays your trust and ends up not holding up their end of the deal- especially after you give them benefit of the doubt time and time and time again. My trade issue happened in the middle of June- I sent my pin the day we agreed on the trade and they received it one or two days afterwards. My pins never came and communication has all together ceased about 2 weeks ago. Really took the fun out of trading for a while for me >.<
I hope you guys get your pins back!! <3

hi ,
yeah i feel the same way i hate thinking someone never got the pin i sent (that is what i am going through at the moment and its the first time its happened) i personally off my own back sent a receipt to pin pics just so my trader knows i sent the pin and we can sort it out like adults.
I think its worse when a trader doesn t communicate thats is far worse , yeah i agree you have to stay calm and hopeful
