I went in today to find out about the dolls and other items. The mgr told me she had everything in the back already but couldn't show them to me. Boooo. Lol. She did give me a few of the little booklets with the sketches in it though. I have 3 extra so if anyone would like them please message me your address, and I'll send them out in the mail tomorrow :)

She also told me she only had 3 of each doll in the make. And didn't know if she would get more or not. Sheesh... that may be a problem o_O

Sorry catching up on this thread properly after just skimming through it the other day :lol: I absolutely love the Rapunzel and Snow White style, and that notebook is just beautiful! I'm not sure if I'll be able to get the pins for these, so I was totally excited to find out they are doing merchandise! I am going to need a Rapunzel journal!! :)
 
According to a cast member that was at the expo, the dolls will be released both in store and online every monday. Now heres the curveball: she said each doll has a different LE size. Some are high and some are low. She wouldnt tell me a numbered range, or which dolls will be high or low. She just said "make sure you are at a disney store when it opens every monday if you want a chance at the dolls."
 
Urg......the D23 expo has been going on and I have not seen any new photos yet! There has to be a couple of all the new merchandise for the Disney Princess collection. I am dieing to see what the shirts and scarfs look like! Some please help me out here!

I also spoke with a Disney Store Cast Member at the Expo and was told that the dolls are going to be LE from 4,000 - 8,000. She did not know which were higher or lower.
 
Also, just wanted to say that the dolls are very nice in person. They look a lot better than the pictures posted on the net.

Got it at the Expo yesterday.
 
Cinderella is now available online. I bought her from the UK store. I don't think you can use discount vouchers on these dolls (certainly, you can't for the UK ones). She is LE 8000.

Edited to add: I had no intention of getting any of these dolls as I thought they would not be available to me in the UK. I'm now in the process of determining which pins to sell in order to fund their purchase! lol

Not over here they're not. :( Still, just as well I think, given i shuldn't really be buying the dolls, let alone everything else. Although i would've loved one fo those Rapunzal mugs! lol
 
OK, I want the clutch bag, the comapct, and the scarves. If I thoguht i'd get a t-short to fit me I'd want them too! Thank goodness they're not available over here!
 
So how many items were originally available. I just was able to look for the first time, and there are only 9 items listed. What was available that is now sold out?
 
I got back from the Disney store with my Cindy, she's gorgeous, also they have the other Princesses on Display!!!!! Which got me very excited, I thought we'd have to wait for every monday to be able to see them.

Everyone's dress is way better quality than Pocahontas', hers is made out of felt, and has little sparkles on it...I am extremely disappointed in whoever designed the doll.
The purse is pretty big and it wasn't the same nice leafy colour it was in the sketch, it was brown and has some bronze on it.
Compared to the other Princesses, she got the short end of the stick....QQ.

Tiana's dress looks so funny! Did anyone see the Sydney Barbie doll? The leaf portion of her dress on the tiana doll looks like the Sydney Opera house :p
Ariel's dress looks very cool, but I can't tell the material, nevertheless Ariel is the MUST HAVE doll of the collection, in my opinion of course.
Aurora looks spectacular, her eyelashes are just right, and her gown is just adorable!
Belle, is on par with Mulan, she has a scary look to her and her hair do is just...not right. Her dress however is wonderful and frilly!
I expected Rapunzel to look better, she looks pretty..."Meh" , I'm still getting her though.
Jasmine, oh Jasmine is one of the most beautiful of the bunch, I cannot wait to add her to my collection. Her gown is just LOVELY!
Snow white looked ugly in the pictures in my opinion, but look at her up close and she looks darling! The doll really brings back Snow white :)
Mulan though, still looks ugly. She looks like a nightmare-ish phantom of the opera :p

I would love to see Jessica or Sally from Nightmare in this kind of style. You'd think they could do Tinker Bell too or Alice. Would have to be called Leading Ladies Designer Collection I suppose.
 
Paula really likes the clutch purse. She is hoping new items will be available as a new doll is released.
