Disneyana Event Pins

Disneyana Event Pins

D23 Goes to Mickey's of Glendale more often than the DFC. You have to pay for a membership but you have to pay $6 to get in to this too so I'm not sure that statement is 100% accurate.

These are being released at the All Disneyana Show & Sale on July 22nd. As stated above, Convention Attendees get in at 9, members at 10, and non-members at 11. If the pins are not sold out by the end of the day they will be returning to WDI (Mickeys of Glendale).

Well the slim chance someone would be able to purchase these for people. If anyone picks up an extra Jessica with the Ariel under the sea costume we can work something out

I go to these Disneyana fan club sale days every year. The July show always has more dealers than the Jan show. Lots of great Disney pins and other goodies for sale from dealers all over! The Mickey's of Glendale tables always has clothing, pin bags, pins, and lots of other WDI items!

I want a Jessica!!!!! Hnnng they are gorgeous. I love Jessica (naturally as I cosplay her whenever I can xD) and also love 50-60;s fashion so some of these are just adorable! The Minnie and the Ariel one and the Toy Story are gorrrrrrgeous! Loving how sh'es rocking the flight suit too just like Metal Gear Solids EVA!

If anyone can get me one I'll love you forever! Why can I see me needing to trade one of my upcoming Brave LE's for this? :anxious:

You might not be able to trade your Brave pins for these, there are twice as many Brave pins as there are Jessica pins and while Brave may be hot now, it isn't an established trader like Jessica. I think anyone wanting these is going to pay A LOT, especially considering most of the people who are going to be getting in early are resellers.

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG...

How did I not know about these until today?

Check my traders if you're going- I might throw my kidney in, too. A Jessica Tower of Terror pin? It's a dream come true...

I'd be willing to show up early and line up but I don't know what the rules are. I'd imagine, since this takes place in a hotel, they wouldn't been too happy with people camping out in their lobby.

If there any left, could you pick up one for me. I would pay you for shipping and everything. I like all of them, so I don't have a preference. PLMK

Talked to some people who have done this a bunch of times. You cannot camp out as it is a hotel. They made people leave last year and told them to come back after 7:00 AM as they are conducting business. You basically have to get there a couple hours early and cross your fingers. Especially since there is three different entry times. They would put these out here....just mean....ha!

I want a whole set (I've already mentioned it several times!) I'm not a Jessica collector, but those pins are cute!

BTW, does anyone think the dealers at the convention will scoop them all up/be in line at the same time as the convention attendees (that is, if they have multiple people per table?!)

Can someone explain how the 22nd works? Sorry, I'm just a little confused... Besides the WDI merchandise, will there be other sellers there? Will there still be a chance for those who come in after 11, to purchase items?

Ever been to a flea market? Now imagine all the booths are selling nothing but Disneyana. Every type of Disneyana you can think of, not just pins. One of the booths is WDI, Soda Fountain usually has a booth. But the majority of the booths are by private citizens selling stuff 2nd hand (although you'll find plenty of mint in package stuff too).

There will be plenty to buy after 11AM, but maybe not the WDI released specifically for this event pins. But there will be more pins than you know what to do with, available for sale. But since it is secondary market stuff, watch out for scrappers.

Thank you for explaining this to me Now that I know there will be things to see, I think I may stop by whether or not I can get anything from WDI. Thanks for warning me about scrappers. Very good to know do they have trading, as well? Or is it just all for purchase?

This event truly is a sheer heaven for Disney collectors! I can't tell you the number of good deals I've gotten on Haunted Mansion items over the years I've been going! Especially since the economy took a dive in 2007/2008. I got a 2008 graveyard LE100 DLR frame set for $100.00 off the previous years sticker price! And an O-Pin House 2009 framed HM amenities set for the original list price! Last year I got a Shag mansion pin set from the 2009 DLR event for also original list price of $50.00! Now is the time to find good deals! And at the July show, they fill 2 ballrooms with dealers instead of one at the January show.
