You were the first (and only) person to trade with him that night, he was excited. He put out his little trading book for people to see as they walked by, but you were the only person that noticed it. lol

This one does it for me...LOL...

I have to admit, I was undecided on going as my last PTN didn't pan out so well for us... But after going to the DSF Brave release and actually meeting some of you, I guess I might feel a bit more like socializing... My problem is everyone there is trading and in conversations and I do not wanna be rude, Arrrg what do I do?? Do I stand here and wait or do I just go touch their book and interupt... Grrr... Some of you who may know me also know that I am not a very patient person, I cannot sit still, I hate lines (DSF 21 hours... Wow), oh I am still that shy boy I was as a kid in uncomfortable surroundings...... So I am hoping if any of you see me just wandering around looking like a lost puppy, that you will grab me , yell at me, or throw something at me and get my attention so we can talk/trade/meet...
I am easy to recognize... Bald white dude with a graying goatie... and if my wife goes she is easy to recognize too, she is 6'-1" Blond and towers over me...LOL

So, I will give this another shot (Perhaps one from nuintrader) and try a PTN Night again...

and Willieam my vote is for the Beloved Tales Lanyard, I have only seen a few of those in person...

Any time someone who's trading has their book out, I go up and take a look even if they're in conversation. And I mean that I'll do it politely. Or if someone is flipping through someone's book, I'll just kinda poke my head in and take a peak too. I have never​ had an unpleasant experience with traders, so you should go and give it another try! :)
 
During one of the last PTNs I went to, I got up to go look around a bit and when I came back, a couple traders had put their books ontop of mine on the table and were in the middle of a trade when I got back!! O.o I felt really awkward but I did ask them politely if I could have my seat back. They glared at me but they did move their things *lol*

Come say hi, I'll probably be at a table most of the night because of my injured hip! I hope to meet a lot of new folks and do lots of trading! :D

I usually park at the parking structure and then walk through downtown, Grand California hotel, and across the street.
