Im usually not a big fan of complaining on the FB page, but i feel like i needed to speak up thus time. ugh. Here is what I posted on the dsf FB.

I'm not gonna throw a tantrum bc its a pin(s) but I took a half day off work to be to the 12:30 distribution because it was stated in your rules that no lining up in advance was permitted. Now, not only is the line already formed and filled to capacity but half of wristbands supposed to be available are now gone. you HAVE to understand that you are not only encouraging but rewarding the mob of people that consistently make their own rules and procedures. you basically just said "show up whenever you want, act crazy and we will just give you what you want". I'm so confused....and wish I didn't lose money for nothing by taking off work to purchase your products.


just as another point of view...I am a high school teacher. The number one priority in keeping control of your classroom is to be consistent with the enforcement of your rules. as soon as you allow "students" to break the rules and turn a blind eye (even once) you LOSE control of your classroom and its very difficult to get it back. It sounds silly but this is the complete parallel to what has happened with these releases. The "students" have taken over the class! Just saying...

I actually wondered how many people who where satisfied with the Beloved Tales outcome would still be happy with this release. Is it fair to say that the honeymoon is over and happiness has left the building... perhaps the state?

Americans are a weird sort of people. They don't listen to armed terrorists who tell them to sit down and calmly die without a fight and they don't listen when DSF tells them not to line up for a pin.
 
All this BS wouldn't have happened If it wasn't for the people who decided to make their OWN line. Ed is a big push over and wanted to be FAR (witch how that was far to anyone who the hell knows!) to everyone there. The police I heard even said "Why doesn't he send these people to the back of the line?" Its common scene to show up to soda fountain and get in the back of the line right? I'm just saying to all the people I know and I have Camped out with before for DSF releases, Why would you do this to your friends? for a pin? I suppose your pins have over come your own mind and you chose them over friends. My friends who were right behind me went home after finding out they wouldn't make it for the 7am wrist band distribution. may I also say that who would of thought a line of 40 Vs 300+ would have even gotten wrist bands.... just not right If you ask me.
 
wow they are getting tore up on facebook. You would think they would get the picture finally. Pretty soon the lines are only going to be resellers because people are going to care less about these pins. Then hopefully the resellers will have to sit on the pins. Because no one wants them and what they stand for. Then it can go back to the way it was. Or a girl can dream.

you mean the UNOFFICIAL line... no one told anyone to stay the night n after 6:30 it was magically gonna turn into the official line... the manager told me and my sister that their were not letting ppl stay over night and that ppl in line weren't their responsibility. I just stayed home b/c i knew something like this was gonna happen... I don't know under whos authority (certainly not DSFs) did everyone decide "we are going to form a line" but unfortunately thats not how things work. No one has the authority to say "this is the correct line" and the people who formed the other line had just as much right as the ones that camped out. No where in the rules did it say "the earlier you line up, the better place in line you get" it said LINE UP AT 6:30. not the day before...

In my mind, if Disney allows you to line up at any time then yeah, line up as early as you want and thats the line. If they post a certain time, everyone there at that time should have an equal chance at the pins vs anyone else there at that time. It shouldn't matter if they got there 5 mins early or 5 days if they wanted to but everyone should have an EQUAL and fair chance.

I didn't go to the last release but after they handed out the 75 wristbands at 1pm, there was still 32 people in line for the 7pm. That means that if they all stayed 25 of them would be guaranteed the full set of pins and the last 7 and anyone after that point would only be guaranteed the marquee.
 

you didn't even go and your crying about it. We didn't go to the BT release and were not crying about it and there was a 3 day unofficial line but showing up 30 min before makes it magically official that's just as stupid. There's always been a line. There's people on here that I have been next to in an over night line that cry about lines now and then there's people I know that stayed 3 days for BT and got screwed so they just showed up at 6:00 and I can understand that but I don't care how many of the people I like or dislike in the end I'm not going to screw them out of a spot. Go to any other collectible release see if the overnight waiting is any different whether its sports, toys, shoes there's a line people should RESPECT it. Try that in any other line for collectables and you will get jumped go watch videos on youtube, because if you were in that line I bet you would want that same respect so if your to busy or you can't make it because of work or what ever the excuse is its about respect because if I have work or other plans in the day and I can't make it I don't go crying about how unfair life is I try and trade for the damn pin so what ever cry all you want we got are wristband I just feel bad for people who are willing to take the time off work or just make time to show up and didn't get a wristband sorry to all of you.
 

 


well first off im not crying.... You're the one who posted "crying" about the second line "and it's BS blah blah".... Secondly, Im just making an observation on your point of view... Lastly, I agree that lines should be respected IF THAT IS THE PROTOCOL. it just so happened that this releases here were rules that no one followed. One of those rules were: LINE UP AT 6:30. if it woulda said line up whenever you want, then yes respect the line... line up hours before disregarding rules? THATS stupid. Everyone has their own argument and theyre all valid you know The second line is right to say they followed rules. The unofficial line is right to say they waited longer.every one is right to say DSF mishandled it. It's just dumb to say "youre wrong Im right and my way was more ethical" Everyone did what they had to do to get pins because of the poorly thought out procedure.

and to further address the "crying" accusation.. im not dying for these pins. theyre not in my collection.. im not saying how unfair life is for me for not getting them.. maybe you read my post wrong. which would explain why you showed up in an unofficial line since maybe you had the same issue reading DSFs rule
