Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
Haha they've actually replied on Facebook by just saying they have passed the comments on and £80 is right. Everyone is getting angrier by their response. I'd hate to be the person typing the replies!

I have to disagree, I was reading through it earlier today (some of these posters are enraged, too enraged) and I think the person writing the replies is enjoying themselves VERY much! Like, A LOT!! :nono:

Look at their response to this loooong angry rant

  • ... I was there the moment it came out refreshing page every 2 seconds, then a strange message came up and could not purchase at all yet someone managed to get ne at 9am 40 mins after I had tried. I just experienced this with this pin, same message again. I have tried complaining last time but all dinseystore say is it sold out very quickly, which I did not believe from other peoples statements at the time. How quicky they never say. But you start to realise somethings wrong from other peoples comments. I was there again this moring the exact second and it says the same message again, could not be purchased. I have tried saying to you Disney if an item sells out then it should say sold out, but it doesn't. You say my comments are taken on board but obviously haven't, if it's sold out it should say so and the add to basket icon should be faded and not able to press. I was refreshing my page for 20 mins before it finally let me purchase one. Why is this. I don't understand how people managed to get one at 8.01am when it was still on my screen up at the top of the page saying to be released on 14th Nov etc. I wonder are you releasing one to buy every few minutes or something, or something's wrong with your system.'
OFFICIAL DISNEY RESPONSE

'Our Limited Edition Frozen Pin went on sale at approximately 8am this morning This Pin was very popular with our Guests and sold out extremely quickly which is why you saw the message that the product cannot be purchased at this moment in time. Have an Enchanting Day!

........oooooooooooooooooooooh.......

HAVE AN ENCHANTING DAY! seriously?

Obvious backlash;

'It is not an enchanting day for many of your customers again.'

someone else replies!

'Please don't put "Have an enchanting day!" as it so demeaning to all the angry people '

Disney then continues ending sentances with have an enchanting/magical day. I have noticed they don't end every sentence with this. It is done particularly in response to criticism. Therefore, it must be intended as sarcastic and I can just see the employee grinning smugly. Some of these fb posters could be more tactful but the replier should certainly be more apologetic when replying to a customer who says they are very upset (otherwise, I dont think they should reply)

I'm glad I only collect dolls and not pins. It's stressful enough as it is. I can't imagine having to deal with trying to purchase the LE dolls last night and waking up in a few hours to purchase the pins. :anxious:

So I had to wind up going to my store this morning because my friend got locked out of the DisneyStore website and missed both dolls....(I was lucky and got both of mine). I get there and there is only 2 people waiting! I was shocked! What was also nice is they actually had cards to hand out to us with numbers on them! I'd love to post pictures so you guys to see but I don't know how to post pictures here.....lol

Just saw someone post on Facebook about express delivery, do you think it not being available had anything to do with the two different prices?

So glad I didn't get these dolls otherwise I'd be opening an account on Facebook to kick off with everyone else. It's a shame as I was thinking of getting them for my daughter as its the first princess film that's been out since she has been born but no way for £80.

They are still available on the UK site, makes sense why we had 1000 of each t

I had a problem with my order last night, the stupid DS website, only allows one gift card and then after the order posts, one has to call customer service and add the remaining gift cards. Anyway, they didn't open till 6am my time and when I called, the rep added the remaining gift cards. When I asked her if the status of more order would be affected, she told me that since they already tried to process the payment, there's no guarantee:/ I was SOOO ANNOYED at that!!! I decided to just go to the store, thankfully I was the 2nd in line to buy Anna and Elsa. My store only had 5 of each doll and I'm so happy I was able to get them. Anna is GORGEOUS!!!! The pictures online, do not do her justice!!! Who knows what will happen with my online order....I might end up with another set!

Hey guys, contacted Disney store about by order and he lady confirmed that the dolls sold out in 12 minutes. So if your orders were in before 12 minutes past the hour you should be fine.

Wow....12 minutes?! Doll collecting is starting to get as crazy as pins........I really hope dolls don't start selling out within 30 seconds.......granted doll editions are usually higher then the pins. However, I'm thinking to switching over to Hot Toys only! I can pre-order usually a year in advance and usually not have to worry about it selling out in minutes, less stress but A LOT more money! LOL

If anyone has an extra Anna or Elsa le doll I'd love to purchase it as I missed them online and my store only got 4 of each and I was 6th in line.

I spoke to someone at the UK Disney Store customer services after posting a few posts on the FB page. The woman I spoke to gave NO reason as to why the prices of the dolls were put up by £20 each.
I am so annoyed that people could buy from the stores for £60 but if you bought online at 8am this morning you paid £80. Something is really not sitting right with me on this one.
Anyone have any more info?

So this has probably been said but I'm just confirming the French price raise, to 90€.
I was at the Paris ds release, we were probably around 15, and they received 40 of each dolls so there will probably be some left.

Wow 12 min! Thanks for the info Polaris! I was really curious to know how much time they lasted. So it looks like 17" LE Anna and Elsa beated the legendary DFDC Ariel & Eric set.

They're still available on the UK site, I could ship them to you for cost + Postage? The only problem is the postage would cost a bomb :c

I saw someone post on facebook that express delivery was not offered and they're thinking that it was removed so they could remove all the £60 stickers off the dolls!!

The other thing about this whole fiasco is not only did some people get the doll early, think it was Elsa that was for sale on the Italian site. They sold just over 150 and these people only paid 70 euros now everyone has had to pay 90 euros. I've just been reading the French disney store Facebook and they are not happy either, lots more complaints about the price rise.

Wow, they sure are trying to cover there arses aren't they.
We deserve answers as to why the price rise has happened only in certain places.

Exactly. Some people at the French release were saying that they too were able to get Elsa at 70€. So it's ridiculous that we had to pay 90€.

Alright, has anyone found pictures yet comparing the Harrods set next to the 2500 LE set? I'm especially curious about Anna's hair and freckles.

im excited to get elsa but was feeling pretty mad about the whole price thing, I know I have so many ideas for posing and scenery for her so I made her some little snowglobes to hold to calm down.

Can anyone post or does anyone know of a video of the Frozen snowglobe? I'm up in the air about it but I'd like to hear how "Let it Go" sounds on it before committing.
