Yes I will get them at some point, I'm still surprised they aren't online yet but I guess it won't be long. Belle is my favourite in her blue dress too

SPOILERS i think...

hmm, iirc, disney hasn't done a male LE villain yet, but hey, kristoff made it as a toddler doll so maybe we have a chance!!

also, kind of hoping for coronation classical dolls (that don't cost 70 dollars like the deluxe thing or w/e)

and animator dolls with the girls in their nightgowns! i'd buy them again even though i already have the toddler dolls xD

Not at all! I'm glad everyone likes it I couldn't resist the opportunity of a good snow scene for a Frozen display (and it gave me an excuse to buy the figure set to use as cake toppers!), I'll be sad when we eat it next week though...
 
Was bored today, so I decided to go to Toys R Us and see all the craziness.
I left after 5 minutes... It was so bad....

Anyways, I found these:




It's hilarious how all you need is to draw a beard and a mustache on kristoff he'll be Phoebes (Hunchback).
And... I don't know why.. But I think that the Mattel Kristoff looks more like the movie.. I don't like the Disney Store one.

I for one, would love a LE Hans doll. Though there's probably no chance of that happening as the most likely route for dolls would be the other outfits that Anna and Elsa wear... Oh well, it doesn't hurt to dream!

We can dream! They went nuts for TLM, and Frozen is skyrocketing in popularity so maybe they will end up doing both the gals in alternate outfits and both the fellows. If they did do 4 I'd be hard pressed to choose, but if I couldn't get all I'd just get another Elsa and Hans.
 
SPOILER ALERT!

It is interesting but Frozen is a movie that does not have a villain, yes Hans is not a nice guy and was just using Anna but he wasnt a villain and in most cases the maximum number of dolls that they have ever released at any one time was 3 which happened last year with TLM. So the way I see it is that because this movie did not have a villain it will generally be the two sisters and if they were to do a male doll it would more than likely be Kristoff as he is the lead male character and the love interest of the princess. A Hans doll would be cool and Disney could surprise us with the first ever 4 doll release, which would be very expensive possibly totally around $450 including taxes (if doll prices were to remain the same) so is very unlikely as it could result in an uproar but I guess Disney could always argue that you dont have to buy all 4 characters if they were to release 4.

It is also interesting as technically Elsa is a Queen and not a princess but because she was a princess for a part of the movie she still qualifies as a Disney Princess and will be the first to ever become queen.

Very intrigued to see what Jan 10 will bring us now...
 
The chances of Frozen getting more LE dolls is possible.

So far, the movie surpassed the all time Domestic growth of Wreck it Ralph, and it looks like it'll surpass tangled's box office within in the next week.

And Christmas isn't here yet and Frozen is the only animated movies out there right now.
 

Oh goodness! If they ever did 4 LE dolls, I'm sure the world would explode--from both excitement and outrage at Disney asking roughly $500 (with tax and stuff) for dolls. But if they did the 4 humans from Frozen as LEs, then I'd probably get Hans and Elsa as well! :bigthumb:
 

Yes that is true, dont forget the movie is yet to be released in several other countries including here in Australia (comes out officially this Thursday) so I definitely see the box office beating both WiR and Tangled. Frozen has just built up all this hype and is favored to win the Oscar next year which it's two previous predecessors did not achieve. Whilst I do agree that Disney will take advantage of this and release as much merchandise as possible but I don't really see them pushing out too many more LE dolls at any one time. I think if they were to release 4 at the same time two would be up for preorder and the other two would be surprise releases.

Either way looking forward to what 2014 will bring us in terms of Disney dolls.

Actually the first princess to become queen in her movie was Kida.

That is true. Excluding Kida from the Princess line-up was a big mistake (IMO) on Disney's part. There wasn't an official ceremony for Kida. She became queen once her father passed away. Her outfit also changed.

I find Hans is one of the most sinister villains disney has ever done - the extent of his deception and his willingness to leave Anna to die make him very disturbing compared to others whose motives were clear from the off. Having said that, I'd still like more merchandise of him! Also kind of hoped one of his brothers would turn up looking similar but being pleasant!
 
found this on the UK amazon, i check everyday so its come online recently i may have missed a day. its already sold out but i hope it comes back! its an awesome 2 pack £25.99

 

Disney Store released the last 5 Designer Princess dolls at the same time; one day in-store, next day online.
This was due to a lot of hoopla with the Designer Princess releases.

Thanks for pointing that out, but again this was not how the dolls were to be released and it was only done due to the issues in the hopes that people would buy the ones they want. Also the designer dolls are different to the LE dolls both in terms of price and release pattern. Dont forget the orignal designers were only $60 plus tax therefore no where near as expensive as getting multiple LE dolls. In terms of LE doll releases Disney has never released more than 3 at one time, technically this year they released two at the same time (Eric and Ursula) and another (Ariel) as a preorder but released on the same day as the other two.
 
I can't handle (price tag speaking) the 2 Frozen "alternate outfits" LE dolls that are coming out, let alone 4 dolls. If they do release LE Coronation Elsa and Snow Gear Anna, I'm already considering on getting only Elsa. But let's see what happens. I would have to see pictures first.
