Okay guys, as much as I do not like that someone is harassing Ozzie (or anyone at all at that matter)... I think we all need to take a step back and think before we post..

By calling someone else a name (no matter the circumstance)... you yourself are becoming a bully.

Let's all reply intelligently... and calmly... Take advice from one of my favorite films...

Ozzie, I would suggest you report this member to ebay, and to a mod on DPF- they SHOULD have the power to block their IP address... so they will not be able to log onto DPF at all... even on their MAIN account- So, hiding behind a fake profile is pretty much useless.
 
Crazy people these days. Ozzie is A-Ok in my Book. I've been contacted by eBay for shill bidding before, eventhough I was just buying from the same person a lot. (Golf clubs, not pins.) They sent a warning and said if I keep it up they'd delete my account. I replied and said I wasn't shill bidding but infact buying a lot and sometimes was outbid. I have a price. I set it. If it is under I win, over I lose. I'm not shill bidding for someone, I will pay if I win and I don't know them. If I did I'd contact them directly and cut out eBay aka the middle man.

This person sounds pathetic, deceptive, and lonely. They have a son? Yikes, hate to see what kind of con man they raise him to be. Hopefully the kid wises up on his parent when he gets older.

I checked that too, and couldn't find that ID on the members list, but the ID has been showing at the bottom of this thread (maybe new ID's take time to be added to the members list?).

:). Haddent have drama approach me since highschool. This is like taking a hit for the first time in 3 years. Lol the adrenaline!!!!! I think we should implement a sign on the front of DPF when we log in. In construction/work sites " ___ days since our last accident." ...but put "___ days since we had drama." Guarantee it would at most be 3 days before some drama comes back up. Lol

I tend to ignore it though.

As for the user, they do like to push anything off of them onto ozzy. They seem to be really insecure about something, as for what, I have my thoughts :)
 
The "block this user" button is your friend. It helps if you think things are getting out of hand. If he/she messages me they won't even get a response. Just a click of that button. :)
 
Ozzie I have never talked to you on here but your posts are always so nice. I am currently bidding on some of your pins and have purchased from you before (just never knew it was you until now)

as far as sharing ips... Well this is a subject a lot of people don't really know how it works so let me give you some input since I work with them on a daily basis. Some ip addresses are unique to an individual computer however depending on the network the computer ones are 'hidden' and all that shows is the public IP address (so if I was in a store in Florida and you were in the same type of store elsewhere if their network is set up privately the website would show both of our ips as the same). Besides that anyone at anytime can sign into their network and reset their IP address so they really don't give the tracking abilities most people think they do :). If you want to know how to change your ip Ozzie send me a message and I will walk you through it

You shouldn't take one person's comments to heart. We've noticed quite a few weird things on ebay as well specifically for pins we're after watching them quickly rise hundreds of dollars and then drop again in a matter of minutes. Then we look at the bids and find them to be the same two people raising it by a few dollars until someone bids a little more and then they take their bids off.

Maybe it's him? Seems kind of personal to attack you though.
