I am sure some of you remember how excited I was when I found the Rapunzel Big Thunder pin:
pin80446

I opened it up today and am so MAD, first of all there is a little piece of enamel missing from her hair, there is a scratch across the bush, and there is what looks like a little glue stain on the lower left hand side. I just emailed the seller to see what can be done. I paid $70.00 for this pin, which is a relatively good deal... and now I feel like I was duped! Flynn's eyes are funky but of course I knew that going into the pin.

I emailed the seller listing all of the issues, and would really just like a refund, but honestly I do not know how much I trust this seller after this....

Any advice? I was really looking to trade this up to get some of my grails... now what. :( I am so mad & sad. This has NOT BEEN A GOLDEN AFTERNOON!

I am SO mad, and quite frankly really disappointed. I feel like really silly for getting so excited and now I am just beside myself upset over it.
Crying over pins is really ridiculous but I just cant help it. I was so happy to have found it.

Awe sorry to hear about that is horrible when stuff like that happens.
I would ask for my money back (send the pin back) and if they say no... do a ebay dispute/case.
Hope you get it cleared up!!!

Open a case with eBay. If the pin arrived not as described you should open a case. You can try to work it out first but always always always send messages through eBay so that the customer service reps, who are awesome btw, can reference the conversations in case anything goes awry. Good luck! I just got out of a bad seller situation using these steps.

Okay okay. I came up with a plan. We will get a refrigerator box. Have you in it. Ill ship you to the seller. Then when he/she opens the box you can beat the s**t out of them! I hate eBay sellers like that!

Awe I am so sorry to hear that. That is awful. I hope you are able to get things resolved and that you will be able to find your pin. Good luck & sending you lots of pixie dust.

I'm so sorry!! It is not silly to be upset as it is disappointing to look forward to something and then to be let down. :( hope you can resolve the situation soon!! <3

HAHA I so am... I NEED IT! Its been one of those weeks. I am just emotions all over the place.
haha.

If you do not want to return the pin, I think the seller should at least give you a partial refund. It sucks they didn't tell about the damage... :nono:

Hi Lana,

Like Dawny said, for now give the seller the benefit of the doubt. Have they replied to you yet? If not give them a few days. If they do not reply to you contact ebay and tell them what happened. There is no such thing as no returns because of ebay's customer protection. They will have you send the pin back. Be sure to get delivery confirmation for proof the pin made it back to the seller. Sometimes ebay will even cover the postage for you.

But please give the seller a chance to make it right. Mistakes do happen.

Not sure that you want to hear that you will get a refund but rest assured you will get a refund including the original shipping. If the seller offers you anything less do not accept it. I personally guarantee you that if you open a case with eBay you will get your money back. That said it is not ridiculous to be upset, as in collecting anything, you have some type of attachment to that thing and you want/need it to be in the best possible shape.

I hope the support of the board will help you calm down and maybe even find you that pin for the same price? Big girls DO cry, especially when it comes to "stuff" we care about.

Smooches.

If the seller does not reply and you paid with Paypal, you can open a dispute through them as well. I hope it all works out for you.

Sorry to hear about your dilemma Lana. It seems you have a good chance to get it resolved in your favor, but doesn't change the fact of what you went through. With posts like Dawny and others, hopefully they calmed you some. Best of luck!
