I work in a science lab, and so I spend a lot of time indoors... It means I really enjoy every minute I get to have sun on my face! I'm lucky enough to live by tons of hiking trails, and I've discovered it's possible to go hiking at least twice a week. It feels so good to have fresh air on my face. I just wanted to remind others that you have more time than you realize, every day! Take a few minutes here and there for yourself, and then take a look at what you have to do and tackle it! (I'm also a terrible procrastinator, so getting over my "I don't have enough time (because I've been wasting it)" has been a real effort).

As some of you know my dog who is like my child became seriously ill not long ago and of course it was on a Saturday when no vets are open the nearest vet is a 3 hour drive from here I was hysterical I turned to the kind people on here and many came forward to help me in figuring out what was wrong. I had to make a mad dash to the vet to save her life. Going to a vet emergency room is not cheap at all when it was all said and done the bill came to over 1000.00 I then put some of my pins up for sale to help me pay for the vet cost. I couldn't believe how many people bought a pin just to help us out. It was an ultimate act of kindness that I never expected and quite thought was lost in the world today. My wife and I were so moved by the kindness. We even had several people send the pins back to us as they knew they were part of our personal collection. There is no place on earth like DPF. It's just like Disney world the happiest place on earth. We value our friendships on here more than some of our face to face relationships. We have had a very tough year with the dog and then our daughter having an emergency appendectomy last month. We I tend to pay the kindness forward in April when my bonus check arrives there are many of you I just can't thank enough and words just do t describe how much your kindness has meant to us.

Winner! Winner! Winners! Ok it was so hard to pick a winner! so everyone wins! thats right! everyone who posted here Wins! so what to do now? I only have 2 spare 2013 pins, so here's what I am going to do! I am going to take pins from my trader bags and the 2 2013 pins, and put them all in evnelopes and seal them then once all address are in I will address each envelope not knowing who will get what, my pins are not much but I love to give so I really hope what little I have will put a smile on your faces! Congrats to all PM's coming.
