Yes, hard to tell! The person I spoke to sounded pretty confident, and she knew how many the location near me were getting.

I doubt she would be, too many people would be mad! But I guess really there's just so much unknown about her right now :) A photo confirming edition size would be fabulous.
 
Hello Everyone,

I'm new to here, and this is my first post. Sergeant Calhoun is Limited Edition of 1,000. She is not a pre-order and will be available for purchase on 11/2. She is extremely limited though. Only about 30 Disney Stores in North America will receive her. She will retail for $99.50. The quality of this doll is AMAZING! The only thing I am not certain about is her online availability. I'm sure she will be like Lady Tremaine and sell out sometime early in the day. Call your local Disney Store and ask if they are one of the stores participating in her release.

Anyone thought about what the Spring 2013 doll will be? I know Peter Pan will be coming out early in the new year on Diamond Edition. I also believe Aladdin will be released around the same time, except not on Diamond Edition. I'm really hoping they will do Jasmine, but I'm not positive they will. Due to the fact that Peter Pan is having a big release, I think the chances are higher for it to be Tinkerbell. Tiger Lily would be AMAZING though!

Only time will tell. Hopefully Jasmine doesn't get neglected the way Pocahontas did.

It seems that it's going to be difficult to get one... Only 1000 and no confirmation about her online availability either...
But you said she looks amazing, does this mean you already saw her in store? Lucky you ^_^!
 
LostBoy89, Aladdin is not coming out in Spring 2013, but 2014. I really hope they do a Peter and Wendy LE set, with Tink as an accessory (to scale) for Peter.
 
I hope everyone that wants her gets a chance to get her. Only 2 stores in my area (and they are not even close to me) are getting her, but they haven't had many people call in about her so maybe that's a good sign. Maybe not too many people know about her.

It is such a bother that Aladdin keeps getting thrown about in terms of when it's release on blu-ray/Diamond Edition will be. The Disney Company's big mistake was not keeping closer to the release schedule of the Platinum edition with the earlier releases of the Diamond Editions and then now trying to squeeze Aladdin back into the lineup... Worse still is that they actually put on the advertizing insert of Lady and the Tramp that Aladdin would be released in spring 2013, but the whispers are out that it will be delayed (again). Does anyone know if there is an official press release on that?

As Shivatopia said, I'd love to know whether this is completely official or not, too.... I don't mind waiting for Aladdin to be released (Peter Pan is an exciting release for me too!), but I'd like to know for certain when it is coming out... *sigh* I just want a LE 17 inch Jasmine! :lol: Let's hope she finally gets her time in the spotlight soon.... :x:
 
Officially it's still pending, it may be released in some countries sooner than others. I'd rather see it in 2014 and Sleeping Beauty the year after, I'm not having TLM delayed that's for sure, lol.

I don't want to spoil the fun, even though I'd find a Yasmin LE doll intriguing she's not the main protagonist in the Film, that's Aladdin. so in a way I hope it's Aladdin who gets his time in the spotlight which would only be fair. I wouldn't mind however if Disney came up with something in the LE style of Merida and Eleonore, where we get an LE Aladdin and Yasmin in one box. Just a thought :)

As much as I'd love an Aladdin doll, I think Disney knows Princess Jasmine is far more popular than Aladdin, so I think she'd get the LE doll... also, Disney hasn't seemed to have caught on yet that we want male LE dolls too LOL, but I suppose only time will tell- I hope they do a Peter and Tiger Lily/Wendy 2 pack! :D
Nevertheless, I am still crossing my fingers for a beautiful LE 17 Jasmine... and if not, I will personally email Disney every single day for the next millennium until they make one... *evil laugh* Everyone that knows how much I want this LE Jasmine will know this is TRUE! :rofl: But oh, the possibilities for a 2 doll pack, that would be a dream come true! ^_^ <3
