Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
Luna, your backgrounds are amazing! Great idea. I don't think it would decrease their value at all. I for one like the idea of customized display cases.

On another note, the sad thing about any eBay presales is that some of the ones that prove to be a good deal (like if the value shoots up a lot in the next couple months) might get cancelled by the seller, saying they don't have them so that can sell them elsewhere for the inflated price. I've actually seen that happen quite a few times with LE Disney dolls. There's a LOT of greed in collectible a scalping :(

I know so many girls named Anna (not pronounced Ahna) that I have trouble saying her name right. Plus I called her Anna in my head a long time before I heard any characters reveal it to be Ahna. So no, I don't get annoyed lol.

I called my store to see if they still had pre orders available and she said yes. So then I asked if they had displays of them and she tells me that they have Anna but that They didn't receive Elsa. Apparently she's stranded on the east due to the polar vortex storm lol oh the irony !

Id like to come across that delivery truck. LOL

one of the problems also with the presale isssue is that anybody could say they have the dolls and really not have them and then there is no recourse for the buyer because it's past the 45 days to file a report

Hi guys

I stayed up to order Elsa early this morning, and got an email confirmation at 2:09am CST and I just checked my order status and it still says active. Does that mean that everything is okay and that I actually got a doll? lol I'm new to this. Has anyone had there orders cancelled?

Would they cancel so early? Wouldn't they wait til ship date to cancel orders?

and that is true on that aspect and with Ebay's rules that's how they manage it. Point is if we like it or not by Feb there will be a ton online and at higher prices. I'm just happy I got my girls their dolls.

I could see that being an issue.

I once bought LE Merida off eBay and when it arrived it was a mess ! The shipper box was destroyed , the doll was a disaster. I was heartbroken and fuming. The seller said it wasn't her fault and no refund. Until I got eBay involved. Full refund including shipping. Under eBay rules until the item is in my hands , it's the sellers responsibility. Always get insurance !!!!

Yes the seller should always get insurance to protect themselves, per ebay insurance is for the seller that's why they changed it a few years ago that sellers are no longer permitted to ask buyers to buy insurance separately

skittles! there are a couple harrods sets on ebay!!
the prices though...

so... any chance frozen will become less popular by march so prices can even out?
or is the chance higher that frozen will go on to win the academy award and become even more popular?

(I pay for the dolls, but I just give him the money and use his card)

I do the same, but with my mom's card. I kinda freaked out this time around because about a week before the presale for these past dolls, she told me I couldn't use her card this time and had to get my own. Luckily, two days before she allowed me to give her the money and use her card like before.

Yeah I deboxed the previous Elsa and Anna because I loved the characters so much I knew that I would never get rid of them. I'm keeping my Designer couples in their boxes 1) because I like the boxes and how they are displayed except for Rapunzel and 2) I know I'd destroy the paper/cardboard backing if I tried. The next Anna and Elsa I'm still debating on deboxing for one reason and that's the gloves. I'm convinced that I would somehow lose them. We'll see when I get them, I might end up just waiting until I love into my house (hopefully) in June. Honestly, though I think anyone can display their dolls however they want in or out of the boxes.

Yeah I saw those too !!! The one is almost $2,000! Outrageous ! There's one that is a little over $1,000 though lol
I can't believe how huge frozen is ! It might settle down after a while but who knows.

Frozen might be just a little bit less popular, but the prices will still be high. I think it'll calm down by June or July. Cause by then, BH6 will
Be known and people
Will be thinking about it instead of frozen.

I can't wait to see the "from
The creators of the academy award winning 'frozen'"

If frozen wins the oscar!

i hope frozen, or even the croods, wins, but pixar seems to win them all xD
but frozen really breaks the mold from other disney films so here's to hopping!!

I don't see Frozen's popularity dying down. I think it has a very strong chance of at least winning Best Animated Feature. Its only "competition" is The Croods (Dreamworks), Monster's University (Pixar), and Despicable Me 2 (Illumination Studios). I don't really see any of these features beating it out. But that's just my personal opinion.

p.s. Am I the only one who gets just a teeny bit irritated when people say ANN-ah instead of AHN-ah? After you've already seen the movie and/or you're a cast member? Okay I'm done :D Good feelings, ya?

The manager of my store did that today. Of course this is mostly Disney's fault since they chose to pronounce her name AHN-ah, but spelled it Anna when it should be Ana.

Man Pixar ALWAYS takes the gold ! I think it's between those two really. Fingers crosses for Frozen !

I think Frozen has a fair chance because I feel like Monster's University wasn't creative at all, especially for Pixar. That same story line has been done to death for years. I didn't think it held a candle to the original Monster's Inc. The only thing I liked about it was the message that you don't have to go to college to be successful in life.
