Moe's Research Questions... Please Help...
I just wanna pop in real quick and address any concerns about the site being a paid site -- as I mentioned in an old thread, THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! The site will always be free, but the idea of "DPF Gold" has been entertained and will be a voluntary subscription that will grant some additional features and stuff like that. Even if this does happen, "free" users will not lose any benefits or features they currently have, so don't worry about being "kicked out of the club"!
As always, THANK YOU to everyone for voicing their concerns and this thread is infinitely helpful in helping us identify where we need to focus our efforts in order to make your experience better!
+11. What does the DPF site mean to you in your life???
It means that I'm usually procrastinating doing something else! I'm on the it all the time and it feeds my pin addiction.
4. If there was any one thing that you would like to see changed in how things pertaining to our beloved hobby are handled, what would that be???
I want more pin trading nights, more big events in CA, and more opportunities to get together as DPF to trade and hang out.
1. What does the DPF site mean to you in your life???
To me it's a great way to meet new pin friends. I am retired and don't get out a lot and this is a good place to "converse" with other pin collectors. I like to trade and this is an additional way to make new trades. I enjoy reading the threads and seeing what is going on in other places.
2. What are your favorite things about DPF that makes this site a place you like to visit???
Seeing what's new in the pin world is why I come to DPF.
3. What improvements would you like to see in the future of our site???
Less auctions. The new threads are mostly auctions and there seems to be less conversation. Server issues are also very annoying.
4. If there was any one thing that you would like to see changed in how things pertaining to our beloved hobby are handled, what would that be???
I would like to see more of the way pin trading used to be, where traders helped each other and it wasn't all about how much money could be made. When people used to be kind and courteous to each other and trading was more equal. From Disney, I'd like to see them admit there is a scrapper issue and actually try to do something about it. Ignorance is not bliss.
