My mom just surprised me with a trip to Disney World!!
We are going to go May 15th-20th!

I'm totally freaking out right now, but I wanted to get this out ASAP. Would anyone want to meet up and trade?! This is not a normal occurrence for me, seeing as I am from Michigan haha.

We are having difficulty getting in to Be Our Guest, hopefully we can manage it, because I am dying to go in! Anyone have any suggestions?

Also, what is the trading like there? Would it be advised for me to get high end traders before my trip, or is it not as intense as Disneyland? I don't have much for traders as it stands, but I would certainly like to bring some. I'm just not sure if I should go nuts and spend a lot of money on hard pins, or get some lower end stuff. What do you all think?

My heart is just pounding right now...ah!!!

My mom is not thrilled about the idea of going to DTD on the night of the 15th. I'm sorry for anyone who was excited to meet! She instead wants to go to Animal Kingdom, and I would rather not make her upset.
HOWEVER, I have convinced her to allow me to go to the Gaston 13 Event pin release at DTD on the morning of the 16th. Would people be able to meet then instead? We could then trade while we wait in line! If not, please message me and we can see if we can figure something else out, I am determined to meet as many people as possible! Thank you!

1. Not a lot of private traders, but bring lots of traders for cast members.
2. Be Our Guest: try lunch, it's supposed to be quick service for that.
3. Have fun!
 
Be our guest we were able to get late seating we went and asked and got on waiting list and got in. we will be over their that weekend not sure what day

So lower end traders would be well enough? I don't have much money to spend so that will probably work better for me haha
And I will definitely try lunch! I know the line is kind of long but it will be worth it! I am going to have so much fun!! <3 Thank you!

Thank you for the advice! It's just my mother and I, so hopefully we have a chance! And if you would like to meet up, I would love to trade with you! My traders kind of aren't so great but we could at least shake hands haha!
 
I believe we are going May 16-19. I really do not have much in the way of traders, will have some by then for CM trading. I had lunch at Be Our Guest for lunch. It's quick service but after you order (touch screen when you enter), they bring your food to your table. The New Fantasyland is wonderful! Have a wonderful time! We go every couple of months so if there are any ?'s that I could answer for you, feel free to pm me.
 
I can probably meet up with you on one of your earlier days there. I'm going to head up there for one last time before my gruesome 2 month bar prep, and that will be right around when I go. I'll let you know with more certainty as we approach the dates, but please post a reminder a week or so before you go.
 
Where are you staying? If you're arriving the 15th and just settling/chilling I'd love to at least say hey. May 12-18 is our Big Family Vacation but the 15th is reserved for resort hopping/DTD/CM pin trading.

I don't have many traders either, so we are in the same boat!! Haha. I hope maybe we can run into each other one of the days? We will probably go to DTD the 15th, MK the 16th, Epcot the 17th, Hollywood Studios the 18th, and Animal Kingdom the 19th. What do you think? Do we have a chance of running in to one another?

What do you think of meeting at DTD on the 15th? That way you wouldn't have to buy any kind of park pass? I am staying at the All Star Music resort because we are poor lol but we will be going to DTD on the 15th I believe! Your vacation sounds fun!!
 
I believe that it's also the first weekend for Star Wars Weekends at DHS, so there will be pins being released for that!

Congrats!! I just went on my first WDW trip last month and it was AMAZING!! My personal favorite was Epcot.
We did lunch at Be Our Guest, Dinner reservations were full. They cut off the Lunch line around 4 I believe. You get to choose your seating and there are 3 rooms. All designed beautifully.
I hope you have a blast!

Thank you! This will be my fifth time going, we just went last year, but I wasn't in to pins then, and New Fantasyland wasn't opened, so this time will be much better! I hope to eat in the ballroom or the West Wing when I eat there!
