The best feeling has to be when you see a pin and you just love it for no reason. =D I first got interested in pins through the Disney movie club I saw the pin I liked and I loved wearing it around. And for my birthday I asked for alot of pins that I could wear around and that slowly evolved to me finding out about ebay sellers, scrappers, pinpics and eventually this forum! It all happened rather quickly and I love Disney more but hate them to for getting me addicted to this pin world, for it can get expensive:anxious:

Its funny how I went to Disney 3yrs ago and I knew nothing about the pin trading, but this time I go I am super excited to see the places I can find to trade. I have only done one online trade and its been tough because I am just getting started and no one really wants to trade.

Hi carrie...you are kinda lucky in that besides living near one of the parks, the NY/NJ area has a fairly active community with bi-monthy meetings in 2 locations in NJ--two big weekend trading feasts in somerset, occasional trading in NY (they were trying to arrange something) so keep looking on the forum under events!

Wow when is it, I would love to go !! I assume it is a big trading event? There's hardly any traders from NY! That's pretty cool, I used to be a D23 member but there were hardly any events in the Ny area to go to

There are a couple every month. The last one was on the 19th. The meets usually only have about 15 traders but two times a years there is a big event that over 100 people go to. Just go on their website CJDPT.
