I wish there was a way (or maybe there is and I haven't figured it out) to limit the tables that match with what you're looking for and what you have for trade, instead of going table through table?

I think the iso for you/them set up and now how they are broken into 4 groups is a huge help and improvement. Personally I don't mind going through everyone's tables, I've seen some pins I didn't even existed, which has been really cool!

Is there a way to see how many people have a pin marked ISO?
When purchasing pins as traders I would love to be able to see what people are looking for to be able to get those into folks hands.

We don't currently display these stats but it is coming soon with an updated Pin Details view we are working on.

Re: Canceled Trades disappearing from Trades Won...

tldr: Canceled trades for unshipped pins should be visible again.

We've recently had an issue where canceled trades were disappearing from the Trades Won screen. We've previously hidden canceled trades after a set time to keep the "clutter" down on these pages. Unfortunately, the Trade Arcades at the end of 2024 took us a lot longer to process than we hoped as there were way more trades than we expected (We've added a few part-time team members to help us process and ship faster and will probably need to hire a few more over the coming year). I have made changes so that your canceled trades should now show up again in the Trades Won screen until the pins are shipped - so let me know if you're still not seeing them and sorry for any frustration this has caused with trades that seemed to disappear.

*Sigh* I always feel like I'm the cranky pants person when it comes to site redesigns. However, with a collection as large as mine, where I am adding 20-100 pins at a time, instead of small batches, this does not work for me. I primarily use a laptop. I use mobile because its easier to add photos or when I am on vacation (which is like 20 days a year?)

In the current design, when I click on a pin on my laptop I can immediately do the following things, zero scrolling. The ability to do all of this in a condensed space was a huge reason why I liked Pin & Pop so much. It worked on a large scale.:
  • Update my collection / interest level
  • View and toggle through available photos
  • Add to a Pin Book
  • Read the summary description which gets me to important tags like Character, attraction, movie
  • Link to Series
  • Link to Origin
  • Add a Pin tool
  • Edit tool
  • Report pin for being a duplicate or other issue
  • I can see the price, LE, UPC, etc with only a tiny spin of my mouse wheel.
In the new design all I can do is: View title, year of release (which aren't really that helpful for someone like me), Link to Series and a primary photo. Anything else requires scrolling. Lots and lots of scrolling.

The summary description immediately follows the description, which makes it seem rather pointless to include in this layout.

On a laptop with a wide screen, like mine, the two column pin details, and the size of the font is not good for readability.

Looks like editing will have to be done per field, instead of all at once. That seems like a lot of additional clicks to update multiple fields at once, which is what I have to often do.

I wished the Tags had been moved up, because I use them a lot to move around the database quickly.

I just see so much additional work for me as a user, I feel discouraged and less likely to add or update incorrect information.

Sorry.

No need to be sorry @hopemax - one of the reasons we wanted to get the "preview" out there was to gather some feedback from the community. While it will be impossible to implement everyone's opinions, I very much appreciate that you took the time to provide HOW you use the Pin Details page and why the current layout supports that better than the new preview.

I will probably move some things around a bit and we'll open the preview up to everyone (currently just available to VIP Members) so we can gather more feedback and give time for everyone to get familiar with the new layout (and give me time to finish and polish some functionality) before we make the switch.

Our site updates have slowed down this past 6 - 8 months as we've been working hard on building our 'behind the scenes' software to help us manage and process the growing number of trades and pins we're seeing at the Trade Arcade. We plan to get back into more public facing updates and improvements in the coming months (this includes a better way to disclose why trades are canceled at the time they are canceled) so please keep letting us know what's working for you and what we need to improve.

Thanks to everyone that's taken time to look over the new Pin Details layout and sent us feedback!

Is there no longer a resources link to DB Pin Trader and My Pin Central on the new design? (Or am I just missing it?)

Just wondering, and this is probably not a big deal that people care about, but I know when I do a search to add pins to my collection, I always have to apply the "released date: new" sort filter. Is it possible to select a default sort to our preference?

I echo this. This is my sorting 95% of the time also.

My 2 cents opinion...

I am not a fan of your New Pin Preview page.

The current page is more concise, easy to navigate, and has a lot less scrolling.

I use a desktop 85% of the time to visit and a phone for a time-wasting fix.
Adding the new "Stats" section is fine
Why not just replace this "This Pin has 0 Trades." with "This pin has -- Traders in search of "

What is with all the new "Sell" functions on P&P ? Are you going to become Sales Brokers?
Links to Searches on Ebay, Google, Google Lens,..... are all sale ads IMO
Use Ebay "seller research" if you want an approximate market price.

Sorry, I am not interested in your My Custom Data section or Log Book function (make them a clickable link)
People entering a price paid are looking to sell a pin at a profit.
Why do I want to know how much I paid for a pin 5 years from now? some went up, some went down. (over-paid crying)

I just don't see how this adds much to the core mission as a pin trading site.

In closing
Please don't get me wrong, I Luv your site as a place where a large group meet, trade, have fun, in a safe environment.
Can't wait for the next Trade Arcade...will tables have a Selling section?
