Alexa... I was just wondering... What do you think the first impression of our DPF site is to our newer members when they constantly see thread titles in big letters... "I AM QUITTING DPF!!!" ... Have you ever thought that these post are damaging to the integrity of the forum itself... I have seen many members who have chosen to stop collecting and have had pin sales with some explanations as to why they are moving on... That is everyones own decision whether this hobby is for them or not... But if you are going to quit, can you please do so without making it sound like it is DPF's fault... This is an amazing site with amazing members and they should not be put in a bad light because of a decision you have made... If this is an attention thing, I get it, I need a lot myself... This just is not fair to the people who work so hard to make this site what it is...

I was not making a big deal out of it. I literally said I was just quitting. Am I not able to sell my traders now because you think I'm trying to hog attention? I already have enough attention from my friends on here and in real life. I don't come to DPF begging for attention now, do I? I suppose this is what you think of me? I'm literally trying to sell my traders one last time before I leave this forum. Did I say why I was leaving? No, not at all. Does my post say I'm blaming it on DPF? No, I don't think so. So before you jump on my thread and try to offend me (if that's what you're trying to do), please think before you post.

Alexa, please let me know if you want or need to talk/vent *big hugs* if you genuinely don't like it here anymore than I'll respect your decision to leave, but please don't feel obligated to leave just because it gets a bit cliquey here! And let me know what you want for the Mulan animation chaser, please! I hope we can still be penpals I have about 5 pages written of your letter so far!

AGH! I just got your penpal letter late last week and haven't had the opportunity to write on my pretty stationary yet.

I am sorry to hear you are giving up pin trading but am interested in your Star Wars Vinylmations (series #2) so would like to know prices and/or whether I have anything of interest for trade (also like the same Mulan chaser that echoharmony's interested in)

I think that Goofy_Moe makes an excellent point. You have made multiple posts in the recent past stating that you are going to quit DPF in so many weeks or here is my re-introduction to DPF. It looks bad to new members. DPF is an excellent resource and I think the more that join the better. But if I were new I would be potentially put off by some of these threads. And whether you made a big deal out of it or not, you knew that by posting such a title that you would get a flood of responses saying "dont' go" "we'll miss you" or "big hugs" because that's what has happened in the past every time you've made a thread like this. So although you may not think so, it comes across as though you are starved for attention.
