So just to see how everyone else feels...ARE YOU EXCITED?!?! I am! Yayayay! I love secret santa! I just got my person, I don't know who they are and I don't care. Their wants is only like 150 pins...are you going to try and trade for your person or just straight buy? I think I am going to try and trade first and then buy if nothing else works. I want my person to be very pleased with what they recieve! Happy Holidays everyone!

I don't have my person yet. I'm excited but a bit worried in case I can't get hold of what I need. As I'm in the Uk there's no time to get from the US and then post back to the US for the secret santa lol.

I've been pretty excited about this, but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get something good in time (since I'm stuck in the middle of America). So I ordered some LE pins ahead of time to make sure that they got something of value. Turns out the person I got only collects one specific type of pin and these aren't even in the wheelhouse. I have one from my own collection that is one of the characters they collect that I will include, but I'm not sure what else to do now. Should I go ahead and send the other things I prepared along with it? I've never done online pin trading (my post count will tell you that I'm a bit of a noob at this), but I also want them to enjoy their gift.

Suggestions?

1. That is so generous to send a pin out of your collection;
2. While it would be nice to send pins that they collect, I don't think it's mandatory. I am still looking for pins for my person!
 
I am going to buy for my person. I am not too good at these things. Haha!! I am just glad my person lives in the US. :)
 
I'm SO excited for this!!! :D I don't have anything that my person wants or collects... So I'm going to pick up some fun things on my WDW trip next week. I'm hoping to get some of the new LE Fantasyland pins for them.
 
I'm not just going to send pins - heck, I might not even send a fancy pin. But it'll be filled with unique items and great stuff. I've been saving up stuff that I think is cool and Disney related for about 2 months now - so yay. :)
 
Folks, things you send do not have to be from your persons want list. It's a total bonus if it is. But If you cannot locate something that is exactly what they want in time (especially for the UK peeps) finding something that they can use to trade and GET a keeper is also wonderful. The idea of the secret Santa is Giving. I am sure anything that you send is going to be loved and appreciated by the recipient.

Sending other things, like stickers, or pin packaging supply, or random other Disney related items is a neat idea. I am sure everyone is going to be thrilled with what is sent to them!
