Oh man you got some great scenes on that thread!!! I have to say the one of Ariel on the rock scene would have been a MUST HAVE for me since I have that exact pin (yes it's in my collection and by far my fav pin!!! Not to brag or anything :wat:) lol I'm gonna go look for s.b scenes to post!! I definitely wish there was some way we could give disney our pin ideas!! :sigh:

I would love a PATF PODM, Incredibles PODM, Lilo and stitch PODM, Toy story 2 or 3 PODM, And could you imagine live action ones? Enchanted, Mary poppins.... :sigh:

Pooh's Heffalump Movie, any of the Tinker Bell movies, the Aristocats, Lilo and Stitch, Winnie the Pooh, Hercules, A Bug's Life, and I also think it'd be really cool to do real life films like Enchanted and Mary Poppins!
 
Aristocats, Rescuers (and even Down Under), Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty, Up, heck even Duck Tales (the movie) would be great!
 
Lol sorry for clarification, I was told a list of whole new films is in the works. But unlike most of the 2011-2012 cels these cels would be refabricated cels. Not originals taken from any archive
 
What!! :facepalm: That is a total fail, I think the fact they come from original archives is what makes them so amazing!! So they're going to be like screen caps, or how are they going to look? Ozzie how do you know so much?? :suspect: Lol so any word on what movies?? :naughty:

No they will look the same you won't be able to tell the difference, the cels will just be new. From what my cm source there will be more shorts lol. This is all still in negotiation the who,e set could be rejected. I know I am pushing for a brave, and Pocahontas
 
No more shorts!!! Tell them to do more classics!! Sb fox and the hound Pocahontas hunchback of notre dame hercules and some newer ones!! I'm new to podms....I have my first 2 arriving soon though a trade I made....they look lovely in the pictures! I think I may collect them, I really wish they'd make an UP and Brave podm, they would be great!!!!!
 
Okay. I'm like the only one here maybe that isn't that thrilled with POM's. I'd get the new ones (not more then 2) and try and trade. I just hated at the end (beauty and the beast) we had to camp out for them. -_- kind of bugged me. And I thought these would be better traders for me but really they haven't. Maybe I'm shooting too high but I thought these would have given me my ultimate grails.
 
I wish they would've done Aristocats, Fox and the Hound, Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood, Rescuers, Bolt, and Ratatoulie. I wish they had done better cels for Cinderella, even though I lucked out and got a Lucifer one. :) I would've liked to have seen some scenes of villains too because whats a Disney film without a villain? They passed on Evil Queen/Old Hag, Captain Hook, Tic Toc, Shere Khan, Kaa, Lady Tremaine, and the Queen of Hearts just in the first 6 months and I would've loved ones of them!
 
My $.02 here: not only NO more PoDMs, but H*LL NO!!!

After the Beauty and the Beast PoDM release, where you had people camping out in the Contemporary (which never happens, by the way), I was so grateful that this series finally was ending in the end of the year. As expensive as it is, I flew out to WDW because it's too stressful to camp out for a wristband overnight only to be given a very limited selection of pins that you basically have to take (or not buy pins). Not to mention that the last DLR wristband release I went to (granted it was a few years ago), I ended up fearing for my life ... never again!

Think about the releases that we've had ... . Tangled was bad. Little Mermaid was worse. I thought Beauty and the Beast was the worst release I'd ever gone to or been part of in a long time or heard of (until the DSF Valentine's camp out release). Do you really want to go through this all over again? Can you only imagine how bad it'll be with movies like UP, Brave, Wall-e, Sleeping Beauty, and so on? It might be better if the edition size is increased 2x ... but just maybe. Disney could make them Limited Release, and they'll still sell out, probably. I think because there always will be 'grail' scenes and everyone is going to want them, these releases will be nightmares.

Personally, I would like to see ones with Star Wars and Indianna Jones. Since, Disney is now the proud owner of the Lucas Films franchise. I would go berserk for reprints of Raiders of the Lost Ark, or Return of the Jedi.
 
I'd love them to come back. Whats Disney without their movies? I grew up with Mickey, Ariel, Peter Pan and so many more. These piece of movies are beautiful, yes Disney still has some fixing to do with getting the right movies or frame cell but they are still beautiful. I have a full set of both years and have many extras not too much for trade but for my collection. I have a picture of me as a kid with all my Disney VHS now I have pictures of me with these beautiful pins that I love that have a piece of the actual movie. They mean so much to me! :) My opinion lol
 
I totally forgot about that!! :facepalm: Lol I would to see some iron man, Thor, captain America, and hulk PODMS although idk how nice those would look... But releases would probably be a nightmare but I just love them I wouldn't be able to resist lol
