Okay, I'll list my collections, too!
Figaro - Figaro has always had a special place in my heart. I'm an animal lover, and my childhood pet was a tuxedo cat named Oreo. I think I have about 30 Figaro pins so far... It is my biggest collection of any solo character. (I also have a couple pins of Cleo!)
Peter Pan - My biggest movie collection. I think I have about 40 Peter Pan pins - I only collect the ones I fall in love with, which are usually pins of individual characters... My favorites are the ones I have of Tick Tock, Tiger Lily, and the Lost Boys, and my pins of the main characters flying through the sky. I do love Tinker Bell's character
in the movie, but I do not collect random pins of her that are not associated with Peter Pan.
Hanukkah - I'm Jewish, and although I'm not a religious person in the least, Hanukkah is my favorite holiday - and it is SO hard to find cool, unique Hanukkah stuff. So when I found out Disney made Hanukkah pins, my mind was blown. I think I have about ten or twelve so far, which doesn't sound like much - but I think there are only about 40 in existence!
Halloween - Mostly pumpkin and jack-o-lantern pins! My second favorite holiday.
Classic Disney animals - Kind of an offshoot of my Figaro collection - I have a few pins from 101 Dalmatians, Lady and the Tramp, and Bambi. I also have one beloved pin of Lucifer, who reminds me of my current cat.
Chip and Dale - When I was a wee one, my favorite tv show was Rescue Rangers. One day I wrote Chip and Dale a fan letter, and I was delighted when they sent back an autographed 8x10 black and white photograph (currently framed on my desk). Chip and Dale was my first collections, and one I'm kind of done with - because I'm lucky enough to have accumulated almost every pin I originally wanted of them! (Aside from one pin in which they are dressed as Woody and Buzz which is almost impossible to get.) I think I have about 20 Chip and Dale pins.
Haunted Mansion pins - Another one of my first collections that I'm pretty much done with - and one of my smallest. It contains the four open edition pins that featured the Fab Five dressed as the Stretching Room portraits. I also have a few more easy-to-get pins from some of my other favorite Disney attractions, including the Tower of Terror and the Enchanted Tiki Room.
Mickey icons - A whopping collection of four random pins I just really like the look of.
The Sword in the Stone, Robin Hood, and Alice in Wonderland - As much as I love all three of these movies, this is one grouping I'm thinking of cutting back on.
Princess pins - My newest collection, but it's sort of odd it took me so long to begin collecting these, since my favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast. Maybe I was scared of all the hardcore collectors! Anyway, I only collect a few of these, too. I love the "Kiss" series, and I'm almost done collecting those - just one to go! I also have a pin of Minnie dressed as a princess, a Beauty and the Beast Window to the Magic pin - and a Belle princess crest. It's a small collection, but cherished.
Okay, that's it! :time to breathe:
