Random Thoughts and Observations:

Congrats to all who got BiS and FF packages.

:( to all who didn't get a ticket today

Does this catalog have more selections than previous years?

I guess since this was a super successful event registration day from Disney's perspective that this may be the new normal.
1.) tiered packages = more interest
2.) more interest = quicker sell out

I wonder if they will increase the number of tickets next year?

I remember in 2016 for Pixar Party that tickets where available past the Fourth of July as that's when I decided to buy a ticket. I think LIAA had tickets for sell into June.

I was thinking the same thing about the 2 tiers. It had all the pin traders on the web site and so sold out the event in record time.

My experience started with pixar party also. Registered in july also.

Anyway, I think you are spot on.

I bet Disney is "kicking themselves" that they limited the Best in Show tier to ONLY 100!! ;)

(Oh, the money they COULD have made today!!) LOL :)
Ha! Disney isn't kicking themselves, they're kicking the $ out of our wallets!

EXACTLY!! And Disney "could have" kicked a Whole Lot MORE $$ out of a Whole Lot MORE wallets if, the BiS tier was more than 100 people!! ;)

Guaranteed the limit will be higher next year OR there will be more tiers.

I can't believe I actually got in on BIS. My daughter is going with me but she wouldn't go for "I'll meet you inside" so I ended up with two tickets! I went to the Post Office to mail a package to Vixyish and only one other person in there but had like 60 packages to mail with no pre-printed labels. She looked at me and told me to go first. As I pulled out of the lot into heavy traffic, a woman stopped to let me in. I'm usually the guy in the grocery who always gets in the checkout line that runs out of paper for receipts and then closes the line and goes on break. This is a very weird day. I'm getting some lottery tickets tonight!

UPDATE:
I have found that you cannot spread Pixie Dust too thin.

The lottery paid me $3 on $10 of rub offs if anyone wanted to know:D
