Thanks for the pictures. :)

I'm not a fan of this one. Her face looks weird and they chopped off her big blue bow...but it looks like they kept the bottom ribbon part of the bow and filled it in with her hair color. :facepalm:
 
I would like one for my collection if a WDW forum member can help me out. Look at my traders or I have the pirates and Indiana Jones pieces of history DLR pins to trade.
 
Oh, so that's what it is! I sent my Dad for pins and when he called, he said he bought an Ariel pin, and I was like, "What Ariel pin?"

It took him from 9:10-11:00 to get through the line this morning, and he said when he left, the line was just as long as when he got in it.

Dont care about the face on the front. My daughter would go crazy over this! If anyone have one left and like something in my trades, please let me know!!!

I noticed that too. If only they took a little more time when designing...
 
I think it's cute but ... I'm with others that are kinda put off by the artwork errors. No hair bow, her lip color was just filled in with gold, and the tips of what would have been her ribbon are colored in with her hair. Could have been a GORGEOUS pin without those errors. My apologies, I don't mean to grip it's just... WHAT is going on with Disney pin artwork these days...? :(

Bwahahahaha!!! Just watching this Tuesday night. My daughter & I are doing a Disney movie every Tuesday night... we started with A and are working our way through the alphabet. Fox & the Hound is next!

Yes, this is the Ariel pin for the Magical Manifestations pin set I believe? When I was there in January they only had Cindy but I was really looking forward to this one. I don't mind the inside of the pin despite it being a little bit off and I still wanted one and then...I saw the front:

She looks downright demonic and soulless, like a lifeless doll on the front and it creeps me out WAY too much >_< and it's sad that the pin originally was supposed to look really nice :(

Unfortunately I am not a fan of this series at all. I would have much preferred them to continue the Valiant and Villainous series, which I actually really liked, but what can ya do. :)

I completely agree. I really like the V&V set until they stopped it at 6 and then it always felt incomplete to me so I traded them all away. There was so much potential in that set too :( I wish they would have stuck to a more cohesive theme for the set, like all princesses and such.

As for this set, I'm not a fan of it either because, like the V&V set, it seems so random. It has 2 princesses, 3 villains, and 1 other character (I really don't know what to classify Pinocchio as haha). I think they should have instead made the 6 with a central theme in mind, like princesses they could have done:

1. Rags Cinderella -> Ballroom Cinderella
2. Mermaid Ariel -> Human Ariel
3. Frog Tiana -> Human Tiana
4. Ping -> Mulan
5. Blond Rapunzel -> Brown-Haired Rapunzel (this would have been a golden opportunity to release the first brown-haired Rapunzel pin I think
6. Briar Rose -> Princess Aurora (the fairies used magic on her clothes lol)

They could have also thrown in Beast into his human form or Elinor from her bear to human form for all I care, but it just seems like a missed opportunity imo :(
