About all these Frozen pins ... [May end up containing SPOILERS]

Well like I said your best bet is to look and wait for the UK and Paris frozen pins... Normally overseas makes more unique Disney pins for movies. This I wish thread has a best chance of ideas coming true from UK pin releases. Haha.
 
I was right there with you in the beginning! I hadn't seen a trailer for frozen yet and I just kept seeing all the hype on here and I was thinking that I'm glad I'm not into frozen...then I saw the movie and the instant I saw baby Sven and krostoff in my head I thought they must make a pin of them and I must get it!!!!! It won't a huge collection but if I see some cute frozen pins I like I will try to get them. Especially Sven!

Wow, can't believe you said WIR was a 2nd rate Disney movie!? They have made quite a few WIR pins. WDI and DSF have done multiple. The parks will start them soon enough. The movie is very popular and the pin values show it. I agree PatF is not as popular. But they have made a few more for that movie. I think Planes will never be heard of again, like Prince of Persia & John Carter even though they were decent movies, poorly marketed.
 
I dont want Olaf to melt. I want him to be melt-y, like when he's with Anna by the fire and his face starts to slide off.

I liked Olaf... but then again, there is not a single aspect of this movie I do NOT love thus far. Garret, please tell the team at your office that they did GREAT!

Having seen Frozen four times now, it has officially become my new favorite Disney movie. I am set on collecting it.
just need the dsf set and I'm almost a completist! I'm going to try to keep up, but only with the pins I really love.

As one of the minority who loves John Carter (book AND movie!), this made me smile.

As for Frozen...

Kristoff, Kristoff, and more Kristoff please. (And baby Sven...)
 
So I got the fever. It came out today in France and I cheated and watched a Cam last night. I'm going to go see it in 3D ASAP when my boyfriends in town. I am really happy I got Elsa, she is now my favorite Disney princess. Kinda sad my LE doll has a small gouge out of her eye but at least I got one. I made a nice spot for her on the shelf in my work area so she gets to hang out and watch me tattoo. As for pins I wand an ice castle oh please oh please, and much glittery Elsa goodness. I am dying to see this on the big screen, had the songs stuck in my head all day. More pretty pins and more pretty merch! Love all your ideas guys too.

I think the horse's name is Sitron. Kind of a weird name...

I would like to see a PTD of Elsa in her snow queen outfit holding an ice cream cone. Not full body PTD, but half her body done like Giselle or Belle. I dunno, it just makes sense to me.
I'd also like to see an LE set of pins released on Disneystore.com like they did for Brave. I'm a HUGE fan of stand-alone character pins so a pin of Anna (winter outfit), Elsa (snow queen dress), Kristoff, Olaf (in a different pose), and Hans in that set would be awesome!
 
I am willing to bet that next year when the girls are added to the official disney royal court they will have Open edition single's of each of them... Goodness, do we want elsa in her coronation outfit or her ice outfit? hmmmmmm

This is kinda what got me started thinking about all this (well, that and the boring same-ness of the early pins) ... Does the box set usually come out around DVD/Blu-ray release time, or closer to when the movie comes out in theaters (ie, they could surprise us any day now)?
 
Oh, and the many references to horses made me think of (though not a horse): Kristoff with Anna in his arms, riding Sven to take her back to Hans. Even better, Anna with Kristoff's hat on. Then I would officially melt!
 
Anna with Kristoff's hat would be a favorite for sure! I would also love to see Marshmallow as he appears at the very end of the credits (with the little crown on) plus one of each of the pins suggested in this forum. The movie is awesome - what's not to love ; )
 
While I'm not a pin-expert and have just been in this for a little over a year now, I'll just say you have a LONG wait ahead of you until we get to the story-relevant and cool Frozen pins. WiR has been out just over a year now and there are still barely any story-related pins (scenes from the movie, etc.) or anything that I think you're getting at. Now, given, there will be a ton of more Frozen pins than WiR since Frozen is a princess movie and merchandise just flows from any princess movie, but still.

I didn't think too hard yet about what Frozen pins I'd like to see, but 2 I know I want are:
- Anna as ice
- Anna and Hans on the clock from "Love Is An Open Door" with their silhouettes as they're doing the robot
