This really stinks. :( I feel like saying "Sorry for always complaining about the artwork/details of the pins. I would gladly buy DS.com pins over most any park pins."

Please let us have some.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

... we used to head to this thread for useful information that also hurt our wallets.

I miss those days.

Me, too! I remember staying up Sunday night so I can be ready for the early monday morning releases...constantly refreshing the page. It's all just park stuff now. On the plus side, I'm not spending as much $$ anymore. Lol

I'm so sad about this. I'm now at the point in my collecting and trading that I would love to stay up and get excited about releases. Hopefully they take a look at the UK disney store and take a hint that we want pins! haha

Ok... so i am kind of mad... I have been checking the disneyshopping.com every day now.. and each day they do have "New Releases" but none are ever any LE pins? So... yea... just my frustration that they are doing this on purpose...

Yea. They took away the "New Release" option from the pins section. There is now a "New Arrivals" button though which shows everything on the site that is new. and its located right next to "Swim Shop" and right above "Adults"

Can we write a community letter to Disney?? Or an email campaign?

Dear disneystore,

Start making pins again!! Don't you want our money??? Duh...

Sincerely,
Everyone

Several of us have already written to guest relations and everything associated with the Disney Store. All of us got a form letter reply from them. "Supposedly" they were looking into our issue. These e-mails were sent about two weeks ago, and so far nothing has been done.

With how big the pin community is I'm surprised Disney has not said Anything about it by now. My wallet has really enjoyed the break, but the change and decrease in pins (only offering park pins now) is a really drastic difference. In 2007 there were about 130 Jessica pins released. In 2011 And 2012 so far there are about 40.

I think we do all need to write a letter together, I really feel that as loyal customers who have been along for the ride lasting over ten year now, we really deserve some sort of explanation.

Omg so cute! I want that!
And I agree get with the program disneystore.com and make a decent selection of pins please!

The blog entry that previewed the pin set says "Exclusive Quarterly Pin Set Available on the Disney Parks Online Store" and "a series of pins that will be released throughout the year via the online store. When placed side by side, the pins will form a picture of characters enjoying Main Street, U.S.A."

The Mickey & Minnie pin was the 1st one released and is still available...

Cool pins !! I want them all :)

Does anyone know when the stitch pin will be released?!

It is the next one (based on locating the image) and it should be soon as they are suppose to be "quarterly" releases (i.e. every 3 months)...The blog entry that mentions the pins was posted at the end of February 2012 and the Mickey & Minnie pin showed up on disneystore.com shortly afterwords.

Really cool sets in my opinion...I'm old enough to remember these from the '50s TV program!

Thank you so much for continuing your pin search and for posting these. If you happen to find Designer Villain pins please let us know.

Thanks so much for posting the new pics!

I have to say though - I am not impressed. The first set is kind of ugly and I wonder if it's supposed to represent the seventies MMC as opposed to the original. The characters look inconsistant. The second set is better, but why is sorcerer Mickey not in the MMC colors? They were different!
