Bomb..... he hears one of them yell as they begin to fly down the stairs to the exits. There is LouieView attachment 4713
looking up at Toad, that insipid FROG, Neither he, nor Toad nor most likely louie will be able to make it out of here if there is a bomb!! He thinks for about a nano second and rushes forward into the darkened control room INSTEAD of taking flight like the others. There on the floor is the crispy remains of Cindrella, and while kaa is sure there are more clues on her corpse, right now he doesnt have time for that.!!
The timer glowing in the dark displays 90 seconds....
He slimps over to the panel and sees the in the darkened area the bomb device that Rafiki warned them about. View attachment 4712
A digital clock with a red and blue wire soldered into the PCU of the clock. The other ends of the wire leads too a lucite container holding a large amount of clear liquid, it has very tiny air bubbles in it, as if the liquid was releasing something with the electrical current being applied. Presumabley when the time reaches zero BOOM.
Nitro glycerin-- kaa has seen this stuff in action before.Worse than the orange flower, this "bubble water" as Kaa knows it, is one of mans worst creations.The snake thinks back to a time in the jungle he watched a group of men use this exact liquid, to demolish a section of the mountain, to cut a whole in it to drive thier wagons thru. He had also seen it used for profit and intimadation in other'ventures' he had been part of. Part of the double edged sword that is having friends in low places!!
This quantity is enough to level Space Mt and make the rides location a crater!! Of that he was certain,
Kaa flicked his tongue, "hmmm that tassste isssnt what I expected!!!
Nervously he glances behind him and realizes the distance out is now going to be alittle tough for someone who doesnt move quickly with a limp, Damn that idiot frog!!!!He wont be able to get out in time....

"ssspelendid!!!! Now you ssslithering ssslueth you are going to have to ssstop it!!! Maybe one day my flessh will feed another ssstronger creature, maybe one day my fangs will not be sharp or my mind strong, but today is not going to be that day!!"

75 seconds on the timer.

Seconds tick by and the constrictors tail starts to nervously twitch like a metrodome counting down the time internally.

45 seconds remain by tail count...Normally you wouldnt think of snakes sweating, but Kaa considers the air conditoned ride very warm at this second.

kaa studies the device in front of him first and then the picture on the Wombat, ok close enough he thinks , although something in the comparisson isnt right? Kaa begins to feel his skin crawl and realizes his tail timer is now at about
15 seconds....

"Well time to make that vital choice Red or Blue??." The great snake rears back his head, preparing to bite the wire, his head cocks back as he prepares to strike ......it will be plenty of time with the blinding speed of a snakestrike.. he chuckles to himself.. Nice try mr killer... not this python not this time....
Neck cramp.... That damn frog !!! I cant move, Kaa is paralized by the injury from earlier, all this movement and the strain of holding the tension of a pre strike caused his back to spazim and he is now immobile.....
10 seconds and the pain in his back is excrutiating.. still unable to move....
7 seconds.... Kaas eyes grow to huge saucers as his brain now makes the final decision, he will die one way or the other, just one is his choice one is the choice of another.

The intimadation manuver that Kaa has used on the others now is used not to bully but to save his life!, Turning completely around with his entire length, he manages to manuver his head towards the panel.
3 seconds... Now is it remove the ground or the power?
2 seconds, He again brings his head back to strike, the pain in his back beyond critical,

The detectives that fled the building are assembled outside... Louie and the rest watch as the exit doors from the arcade open and out slimps a slightly blackened, burned and grimacing Kaa..

MPH hears the call to leave the attraction so he heads out the nearest exit, which is the exit since his is at the unloading platform at the time. MPH runs out the moving sidewalk and enters the shop at the exit of the attraction. Noticing cast members and guests in the store, he announces that everyone should leave the store as the power will be turning off in a few seconds.

Iago squakws the praises of Kaa for his heroism! Kaa, I invite you to refresh yourself in the Tiki Hut. It's dark and cool inside, and there will be none of those infernal tourists for now.

Still, Iago wonders who is smart enough to set such a complicated bomb....certainly not Pumba or Timon. Nor Dodo, since he has no thumbs....could it be.....hmmm?

MPH clears out the store just a few seconds before...nothing happens. "Hmmm, that's odd" MPH mutters aloud. He is happy nothing exploded, but not sure what to expect, either. He sees a group of detectives assembled and notices they are relieved. With that, he lets the cast members and guests back into the store by announcing "The power is back on, you can go back into the shop now."

*King Louie sees a singed serpeant limp by and towards the exit of Space Mountain. it seems that most of the detectives have made it out safely.Louie sends EVERYONE a message....STAY OUTSIDE AND DO NOT REENTER UNTIL THIS IS CLEARED. Now that it is quiet Louie can hear Toad still above on the track. *

LOUIE* "YOU FOUND WHO? AND WHAT?"

OOC* Some deaths are up and coming, but whose might surprise you. Unless I have sent you some info stay outside in safety till this scene plays out.

OOC2* Unfortunately I have to sleep now...I know that is frustrating, but be patient and it will all work out in the end. I will post before I leave for work in the morning.

Kaa heads out of tommorowland and back towards Main St, he knows he is alone, and that a killer and now obviously a psychotic mass murder type of killer is loose.
He is burnt, sweaty, tired, and now genuinely pissed off that someone would attempt to kill him, His saving of Space mountain was not for the fellow detectives, although he wouldnt stop them from believing that if they chose to.
Nor was it his deep respect for Louie or even some misguided saving of Toad, nope, Pure and simple the snake knew as injured as he was he wouldnt make it out, He had no choice but to stop the bomb, he didnt do it for one other reason than self preservation.
After all no one loves Kaa as much as Kaa loves Kaa!

So while elated that he still crawled ABOVE the terra firma, Kaa partially wished the killer would attempt to find him now.
Before him lay the mecca that he sought, here he thought they will at least understand my pain.

His pain easing out , where the "insipid" frog, had run him over, and then where the
neck muscles had strained before the bomb. Even his technichain commented that for someone of his size he had great "stress built up",
"Sssister" he thought quietly to himself as they continued to work, "you dont know !!"
The massuse continuedd to work on his neck for a while just like in the advertisement.

Kaa activated the Wombat again, this time verbally commanding text mode to all remaining detectives.

Anyway,,, The ssscent I got did not come from anyone of Asssian dessscent. Our killer is either of European , African, or another Continent. But he is definately not Oriental.

Just as quickly as MPH lets cast and guests know they can enter the shop, MPH gets the message to not enter Space Mountain. MPH turns back around to the guests and cast members and says "Sorry Guests, the power will likely be going out again soon so the store must remain closed. This time, it may be out for a while. If you are looking for something specific, the cast members here can help you find it. Cast members, when done helping the guests, please head to Star Traders." After the announcements are complete, MPH joins the other detectives.

"I'm glad you spotted that Rafiki or I'd have been roast pork. I'm not going anywhere until I've had a rest."

Aurora is just about to open the door to the electrical room when the door flies open and it is announced that there is a bomb. Aurora turns and begins to run as her assigned security guard grabs her hand and leads her to the cm exit. Aurora sees kaa headed into the electrical room right before they go through the door. She calls out to warn kaa but her words are lost in all of the commotion.

*Chessie, who had disappeared and reappeared outside of Space Mountain just as soon as he had heard there was an explosive device set to go off, kept looking at the attraction expecting it to explode. Suddenly his phone rings and he gets a message from King Louie, instructing him, and presumably the other detectives, to stay outside until further notice.*

Chessie (to the other detectives outside): 'Just because the building presumably isn't going to explode doesn't make this situation any less explosive. Until just what is cleared, exactly? Just who or what did Mr Toad find in there that needs to be cleared?'

*Chessie looks at the entrance of Space Mountain with dislike, seriously considering disobeying an order and going inside anyway.*

*Louie still inside SM is trying his best to hear what Mr. Toad has to say....* " What did you say? You found Ms. Bianca tied to the track and what? ANOTHER BOMB!!!!???? GET YOURSELF OUT NOW!!!!"

*With Louie's strong instructions Toad jumps into his motor car and takes off towards the nearest exit. Louie heads towards the track meaning to climb up and see if he can save Ms. Bianca. He realizes he too late as the first explosion goes off. He ducks to avoid fallind debri.*

*Luckily this second bomb was set not to blow up the building, but just destroy the track and evidence. Crouching down Louie sees Chip run back inside despite orders.*

LOUIE*"CHIP GET OUT!! IT'S A SECOND BOMB!!" *But Louie is too late as a metal rail falls on Chip flattening him like a pancake*

*Mr. Toad is almost to the door, but Louie sees that he isn't going to make it unless he hits the gas.*

*Determined that he isn't going to lose another detective, Chief Louie throws himsel under the track and holds it up allowing for Toad to narrowly escape.*

*Outside detectives gathered around hear a loud crash as the coaster's track comes down.*


OOC* I will send out some info from my phone as it is time to go to work. MS. BIANCA died from the 72 hour rule and minimum post count....Chip is from a false accusation and will be sent a clue....Louie---well we will have to wait and see

Toad was traveling the tracks when he saw Bianca tied to the tracks. "OH NO!" he shouts and sees a bomb ticking away next to her. "GET OUT OF HERE" he shouts to Louie and jumps his cart off the track. He rushes to the door as the bomb goes off. CL holds up a collapsing piece of track as Toad screeches out of the door.

Aurora makes it out safely and gathers with the rest of the detectives waiting at a safe distance. Aurora is waiting to hear an explosion - instead she sees Kaa slithering out with the same limp. He tells everyone that he has defused the bomb. Aurora is so happy she almost goes to hug kaa - almost. She starts to head inside when she recieves a text from Louie to stay outside. She follows directions and continues waiting anxious to go back in and continue looking for clues.

*Chessie still is staring at the entrance of Space Mountain, debating whether or not to disobey King Louie's directions and enter the attraction anyway, when a series of explosions can be heard from inside the attraction.*

Chessie (softly, to nobody in particular): 'Didn't Kaa say that he diffused the bomb before he slithered off to ... '

*Chessie suddenly cuts himself off as Mr Toad comes barrelling out of Space Mountain, driving more recklessly than usual. The Cat has to disappear and reappear quite quickly to avoid becoming roadkill himself. Having reappeared somewhere out of the way of Mr Toad's car, Chessie grins and gives the frog a look that is impossible to decipher.*

Outside Space Mtn, Toad breathes a sigh of relief.

Rat, MacBadger, and Mole meet up with him in their own cars. They all start talking with the other detectives and the deaths of the fellow detectives. Toad and crew notice something with Aurora is off. Like she has been hypnotized or something. Toad thinks to himself, "We need as many fresh minds as possible now that our numbers are dwindling. Let me try something."

Toad begins talking to Aurora and soon his eyes start spinning.

"Hmm nothing happened." This move was not very effective.

Aurora proclaims she has a headache. Toad suggests she rest in Mole's backseat for the time being.

Tink having gotten out of there safely looks around for the other detectives. she sees most of them when King Louie rushes back in telling everyone to stay out. she waits anxiously as she hears an explosion and then mr toad comes barreling out of the attraction. he reports that ms bianca is gone as well as chip!! Oh my oh my 2 detectives at once! tink is beside herself. Where is King Louie?? did he come out??? did anyone see him come out??

Aurora is anxiously awaiing news when Mr. Toad comes barreling out of the attraction. He tells everyone about CHip and Ms. Bianca. Aurora is sad to hear that we have not one but 3 victims from this one attraction! She feels a bit faint when Mr. Toad tells Aurora to look into his eyes . . . she does and as his eyse begin to spin it makes Aurora start to get a terrible headache. Mr. Toad offers Mole's backseat as a place to rest. While she contemplates getting in her security guard steps in and says "If Mole drives anything like Mr. Toad I do not suggest you get into that vehicle." The security guard suggests a nearby bench. Aurora sits on the bench.

Chessie: 'The way Mr Toad drives, I'm amazed we have as few victims as we do right now.'

*Before Mr Toad can respond, Chessie continues, responding to hearing about Ms Bianca and Chip's premature demise inside Space Mountain.*

Chessie: 'So the first explosive device that Kaa was able to diffuse ... . Do you think that first explosive device ever was meant to really explode or do you think it was intentional that Kaa was able to disarm it as a smokescreen for the second device that actually did explode?'

Abu has dozed off from Carpet's gentle gliding around the tracks of Space Mountain and they both have gradually drifted up to the ceiling away from all the others. In doing so, they are both unaware of all the choas and commotion below until the second bomb goes off on the tracks below them.

*As the smoke clears Chief Louie is still alive, but just barely. His pulse is very weak as there are several large metal bars on top of him. His chest has been crushed and on lung has collapsed. As his vision blurs he sees a capet flying high above with his primate cousin flying aboard. With one last gasp he calls out...."Aa--aa--bu..."

Dodo is dumbfounded and all the screaming and shouting and running. He doesn't know whether to follow Kaa or Mr. Toad, or Chip. He decides at the last minute to leave the building and think about things outside. As he exits the building, he hears a terrible explosion followed by what was definitely the coaster falling down. He see Toad shoot out the door and wonders where Chip and Louie might be.

He slowly waddles toward the entrance and looks inside. "What a mess" he says. "It's going to take a long time to clean this up." Then he spys Louie under a pile of debris. He turns back to the door and screams as loud as he can. "Louie is injured" he shouted. "HELP! HELP! Someone help me." He sees Abu flying overhead and tries to get his attention. Just then, Louie's head lolls to the side. Is he dead or has he just passed out???

Dodo continues to shout for help and tries to get the attention of the other detectives. Where is Kaa??? He would know what to do. Just then he get's a message on his phone. It's Kaa and he's found another clue. So, the killer isn't Asian. He struggles to put the clues together in his head, but just cannot get Louie off his mind.

He quickly texts back to Kaa - Louie badly injured. Need your help NOW. Hopefully he will know what to do. Then realizing he hasn't called 911, he punches out the emergency number on his phone.

*Meanwhile in a cabana nearby the resident reptile is getting stretched and pulled getting the kinks out. *

*Yet he is unaware that in the shadows that he is being watched.*

*Just then a phone rings in a basket below the table that Kaa is stretched out on. So Scar steps back into the shadows.

Kaa finishes his song and stretches out around the room, which is to say his body length went from wall to wall in his room two and a half times !!

B> Black hair was found at the scene? Is it male hair or female hair? We should know this otherwise the clue is not helpfull but distracting. Is the hair human or animal, if animal what kind?
C> A feather was found at the scene, but until at least the feathers owners species is revealed, it does little to aid us,
D> Brown fur was found at the scene,see notations on feather above .
E> The killer is not of Asiatic descent.

Odd I feel asss if I am being ssspied apon, kaa nervously looks around, At first he puts it off to Disney security, But the feeling does not go away, and the more he tries the less he feels comfortable.

Ok ssso that rulesss out Ssshan Yu,
whom for the longessst time I consssidered a prime ssssusspect,however that doesss not rule out a hossst of othersss. My next mossst presssing quessstion would have to be isss the killer live or toon? We seem to have not taken into account thisss very revealling clue,,, OR isss the killer a human or an animal? Knowledge of this one sssmall tidbit might cut our ssssusspect lisstsss dramatically.
With these two catagories narrowed we ssshould be able to have a fairer guesss on whom the killersss real identity isss. After all, sssome of my former asssocciatesss could easssily fit this lissst of cluesss ssso far.

The phone on the table next to him rings, He raises an eyebrow ala Mr Spock, now that iss odd?
Kaa answers the phone, "yessss?"
