*Chessie looks down as Kaa calls out to both him and Anton, asking to compare notes. Out of the corner of his eye, the Cat notices that Scar has gone off somewhere, presumably to the Castle Suite, and Aurora still appears confused about her missing time. Chessie shrugs his shoulders as Anton walks off; the Cat looks directly at Kaa and grins.*

Chessie: 'Hidden things may not remain hidden when people work together - and with teamwork, what is hidden may not remain hidden much longer.'

*Chessie looks at the other detectives, silently wondering if they would be interested in comparing notes as well.*
 
Rafiki decides that he might better to join the group, it's easier to keep tabs on Scar that way. He texts Pumbaa to let him know that he is on his way and swings down from the tree.

He appears at Pumbaa's side and watches Scar very carefully. When Scar turns to look at Rafiki he starts to sing
"Asante sana Squash banana, Wewe nugu mimi hapana"

After the group is seperated for those that are going to have a sleep, she thinks to herself that is not a bad idea..so she wonders round and finds a nice cosy bush to sit on and go to sleep which is not to far from the other detectives who she is within earshot of...

hopefully she might get a good nights rest except she has a doubt in her mind that she has to be on guard just in case something else happens and she is urgently needed...
 
*Chessie still remained on the tree branch, alternately observing the other detectives and studying Kaa closely, trying to discern his motives behind asking for a partnership in combining notes. Even though the Cat had agreed that working together might be a good idea, he's wondering why Kaa wants to become a team player now. Glancing about, he sees Rafiki swing down and join Pumbaa and Kevin settle in for some sleep.*

Chessie (softly, to nobody in particular): 'Sleep ... . An ill timed nap could turn into a permanent sleep ... .'

*Chessie looks around again to see what the other detectives are doing, deciding whether to stay here or head back to the Castle and review notes.*
 
Kaa is not offended by the lack of response from either of the two detectives, in fact he half expected to be ignored by Anton, and chessies skeptiscism was also a partial given. However now he can say he tried, He did attempt to cooperate, to possibly expound or more precisely in his mind to learn. After all as a python one learns to be solitary. This would not be much different than the jungle.
Kaa slithers to a CM door in the wall and takes the path past the mini dumbo statue, For a moment wonders what the frogs obseesion with robotic princessess is? and moves up past the Dwarfs mine shop and past Sw scary adventures and pauses in the glow of the lights from the new rear facade of the castle. Leaning against a window at Sir Mickeys,Kaa ponders possible suspects. He also ponders what Scar has said.....
 
*OOC my computer would not post last night so I'm trying to post it now. Its out of the storyline, but when I was trying to post it fit. The site was so slow.

Dodo listens with interest to the conversation between Kaa and Scar. He is unsure of who is going to eat whom, but he is just glad that no one is noticing him. He walks over to the windshield of the bulldozer and bows his head in a moment of prayer for this good friend the caterpillar. He is unsure how he is going to break the sad news to Alice, but it must be done. He takes out his phone and sadly makes the call that will change Alice's life forever. Dodo thinks, thank goodness Alice isn't a princess and I don't have to worry about her being murdered.

Dodo is now aware that Scar and Kaa have stopped talking and that Kaa is videotaping the inside of the bulldozer cab. Maybe he will find fingerprints (or pawprints) since we do not yet know if the killer if human or otherwise. And what could the blue fabric mean? A clue or something to throw us off the scent?

Dodo has been following the case carefully and hopes that Kaa will allow him to join the group and compare notes. His tiny notebook that is kept in his vest pocket is nearly full with comments and questions.

**OOC Is is permissible to ask questions to get information? I had hinted at a question and no one answered. thanks.

Dodo considers the wording of the note that Kevin just found and read. The killer certaintly has a way with the words, but is this a clue? He takes out his notes and jots it down anyway. One can never have too many clues.

Dodo sees Scar start to head for the castle as the moon rises over the construction site. Perhaps it is time for us to find a place to rest. He hops on the transport and give his assistant directions to the nearest comfortable bush. He will sleep on his discoveries and maybe an answer will appear in a dream. He knows that Kaa has put a spell on Aurora, but doesn't know if he should mention this to the princess.

Mentally, Dodo goes over his list of discarded suspects: Donald Duck (white feathes, blue cloth), The Beast (brown fur), Cruella DeVille (until we found out it was a male) and the list goes on and on. Dodo is beginning to wonder if the feather is not really a clue at all. *OOC I re-read the entire plot and nowhere does it say the feather is an actual clue.

That would leave us with two male suspects, one with black hair and one with white hair and brown fur. Dodo wishes he knew if a whisker was considered a hair - that would certaintly make things easier. And who wore the blue cloth. Dodo certaintly feels like a detective who is having trouble detecting. He notices that he has arrived at a comfortable looking bush near the castle and decides to build his nightly campfire. Hopefully the night security staff won't spray him with foam like they did a few nights ago. It was so embarassing, waking up to find strangers in one's bedroom spraying their fire. He just doesn't understand it. He gets his campfire going and sits down to go over his notes one more time. Maybe a clue will come to him.
 
Dodo hears Aurora saying that she thinks Scar is right - there isn't anything more to be found at this site. Plus a little sleep could do us all some good. Aurora heads off to the suites. Her bodyguard mentions that he has called ahead and will have the room next to hers just in case. Dodo wonders if there is going to be a little fun in her suire tonight. He would certaintly take time to get to know a beautiful young nubile princess. He shakes his head to clear his troughts. His bush is certaintly well located and hopefully he will be able to pick up some valuable clues. His head starts to droop and he drops his pipe. Before a minute has passed, he is sound asleep.
 
MPH joins the other detectives to discuss the case. "I agree with Dodo's comments earlier about the clue. When it was read aloud, there was something odd. Then Aurora passed out and I got distracted. After a while, the fact that the killer used Kaa's command to make Aurora fall asleep is odd and means that the killer is watching us closely. It also could maybe shine a light on Kaa or his acquaintances."
 
OOC* To answer your questions as best I can. Yes it is permissible to ask questions. detectives can discuss the clues in anyway they want and decide for themselves what they mean. Having said that, if you ask a question to me I most likely will not answer unless it is a YES/NO question from solving trivia. The reason for this is if I did answer questions at any point during the game then the game would end quickly due to a flood of info. I have a list of clues and what needs to be revealed and when to keep the game interesting. Example at first we only had brown fur and a white hair, but slowly we found out the Dna from those two matched. Things will get clearer and clearer, but patience is needed.
Second question---is the feather an official clue--YES, but we don't know much else about it ---yet.

*Scar sits alone in his room meditating and thinking to himself. Ready to give up for the night, he picks up his pillow and fluffs it to close his eyes. Instead he spots something under the pillow. It is a note folded in half. On the outside is written a warning.......FOR YOUR EYES ONLY>>>IF YOU SHARE THIS INFO, KIARA DIES.
Scar opens the note and reads it quietly to himself. He then takes a piece of paper and writes something on the outside and the inside. He then walks downstairs, places the note on a small shelf and then walks out without saying anything to anyone.*

OOC* Info is being sent out now.
 
MPH decides it is time to turn in for the night and heads over to the castle. Upon walking into the lobby he sees Scar heading out. "Odd" MPH says to himself, "I wonder where Scar is heading." MPH sees Scar leave something on a shelf and leave the area. MPH walks toward the shelf.
 
Iago, after being embarassed by his blundering in the bulldozer, finally flies back (licking his beak from the delicious meal from Animal Kingdom). He is quite confused at the turn of events, as he's never been good with poetry, although he is excellent with rhymes (which can be beautifully heard 4-5 times per hour at the Tiki Room).

Blue cloth, blue cloth...think, Iago. Nah, more fun to bumble around and accidently create havoc. What happened to his co-star, Apu?

Iago is not comfortable around the Chesire Cat's asides: if he weren't purple and pink.......always stirring the pot.
 
Kaa begins to walk upto the castle entrance when he sees scar passing a window? What is that kitty up to now he thinks, its late and all the others seem to have retired. He watches as Scar places a piece of paper on a shelf, looks around quite possible to make sure he is unseen. How very intresting the python thinks. What is on the paper? Kaa hastens his way to the corridor and into the room just in time to see MPH standing next to the shelf with the paper . From where he stands he sees writing on the exterior, Have your read it yet? he inquires???
No is the reply from MPH, with that Kaa approaches the note and picks it up , the exterior saysss....
 
MPH sees Kaa approach and ponders whether to read the clue here or pocket it and take it elsewhere, as Kaa may not be the most forthright detective Disney has ever seen. MPH decides to open it in the security of the room. MPH and Kaa head up to the room and turn on a TV...knowing that in movies having a TV or radio on doesn't allow eavesdropping. Then then search the area to ensure it is only detectives. MPH then writes on a piece of paper for all of the detectives to read: I fear we have been watched based on the note and may have had company in our room. We must be careful, even in here, as Scar was acting suspiciously. MPH then looks at the note and shows it to Kaa and the other detectives:

On the outside is written:

GONE ON A NIGHT HUNT----Scar 1-11-9-26

on the inside you see--- 10-2-21

MPH whispers "this shouldn't be sent via standard communication as we know we are being watched and maybe even monitored." MPH copies the information from the note onto a piece of paper with "don't send electronically and don't discuss in the open" and "Scar left this behind in a manner that suggests the killer can't know he left it behind. This information can't be shared with anyone but detectives." above the information.

MPH then says "we need to decipher the numbers."

OOC: I was specifically waiting until there were posts under mine to post. That way my second post counts toward the group post count.

Kaa immediately sees the clue, starts to study it, he looks at MPH and gives the litte guy a wink?
I have an idea, he speaks into the Wombat spec 5 quietly and then sends a very short text to MPH and Dodo, With that he heads out the door and into the darkness.
The text he sends Mph , says simply...... I think have figured this part out, if you wish to join me, keep this secret and meet me at .......
 
Kaa leaves the castle and follows the paths through Liberty square and down through frontierland.

From the safty of the trees he observes his target insuring that he does not see Scar or seen by either him or anyone else.
a roving security guard passes beneath him and the great python smiles. Like in the jungle , here in mans world, no one looks up!!
Seeing no one around he heads towards big thunder mountain, looking for Scar and whomever else is tonights prey.
His arrival goes unnoticed and the great snake flicks his tongue, finding scars scent is easy enough, now to find him and see what the plan is............
 
Tink wakes up to see MPH and Kaa in the room, and watches as they look at a piece of paper and leave the room. MPH winks at tink as he leaves the room. Tink gets up grabs her coffee and sits it down on the note MPH left in a way she can still read it. HMMMM interesting. Tink decides to go on a night flight and flies up high so to those on the ground she looks like a shooting star or a firefly.
 
*Scar hoping that the other detectives can figure out the message he left behind sneaks through the night towards his destination. He also hopes that the others are smart enough to realize that stealth is called for in the situation. If they are seen then Kiara's life is in danger. He wanted to share the note with the others. He doesn't like facing danger alone. He also is thinking how the killer could have gotten a note into his room. The note stated for Scar to come alone and for him to bring the Jadis stone statue in exchange for Kiara to the location he left in code for the others. He doesn't have access to the statue, but hopes to get Kiara back. If he can then Nala would support him as King.*
 
Kaa quietly text one word to dodo and mph "stealth!" and shuts the wombat off, No outside call is going to give away his location.
He as queitely as possible moves amongst the outside area of the attraction. His eyes searching ,his tounge testing what scents are on the wind. He stops , and listens now too. whoever or whatever they are seeking is also trying to be stealthy,
Suddenly Kaa smiles quietly to himself. This is a game of stealth tonight, somewhere out there is Scar trying to meet with the killer presumably, somewhere out there is a killer who needs to talk to the kitty, but for some reason its covert? why? who is missing from our detectives that the killer could have? Or is it Kiera? Regardless Scar wanted to be found, but could not tell us where or why he was going.??? Now the the grin on the great serpents face deepend. He had been in on enough cons to know, if you figure out where the trick is, AND you do not wish to spoil it , the best place to be is in a place to both see and act. Too far away you miss a hand or facial expression that is crucial to knowing if you have fooled the mark, to close and you risk giving yourself away. Either by sound, or sight. Yess in the jungle as in street creatures often have a way of feeling themselves be watched. Perhaps that was his key!!!!
Scar had used the same Jungle technique on him at the spa, of that he was now sure. So if the kitty felt eyes apon him , that did not act or react. Maybe he would understand that he was not alone and much more importantly,something they both knew quite well, when two predators stalk the same prey..... the kill was all that mattered, who dealt the fatal blow was not of consciquence.

Cautiously continuing Kaa mapped out his stratagy, Find Scar, search the area scar is in for any usefull characteristics. Set pieces to use as hiding , keeping scar in sight and allowing for intervention.
Specifically Kaa was seeking higher places as is the nature of pythons, but he also stratgegized , if needed his coils could be used to apprehend the "meetee" of the evening.
Lastly if scar is found and adaquate hiding available , wait keep an eye on the kitty... after all I have been told my stare is unnerving.. perhaps MPH and Dodo got the message and are doing likewise, he could not tell, but as of now neither of them could he see or smell.
Now to give Scar his message of not being alone and to catch the killer.... but first to find Scar...

Iago, after following the tater tot trail left by MPH watched through the window at the goings on with the secret message. Using his exception bird vision (helped by a small telescope), he spied the data:

10-2-21....October 2nd? Who was born in 1921 thinks Iago? Walt Disney himself? No, he was born in 1901 (lucky Iago owns a Blackberry and can look these facts up).

Could this be coordinates? 1-11-9-26? 26 degrees North is approximately Orlando....but 1, 11, or 9 west is in England or the Atlantic Ocean.

No matter, Iago quickly flaps his wings high up in the air following MPH. He hopes not to make another clumsy error, but just as he thinks that, his telescope falls from his pocket to the ground...sigh.
 
Stepping out of the shadows, Anton watches as MPH and Kaa squabble over a note. They quickly leave. Anton walks over and picks up the note to read it. Not knowing if any one is in the room, Anton says out loud

Dodo gets his secret message from Kaa is much pleased that the formidible serpent has condensended to consider him a legitimate detective. He quickly understand the note, stamps out his campfire, puts on his hat, lights his pipe and calls for his assistant and transport. He gets the second message "stealth" and he quickly tells his transport to go to silent mode. Dodo taps out his pipe and tries to be silent. He cannot see Kaa and has no idea where Scar might be. He feels his heart beginning to race at the thought of finally getting to see some action. He has one suspect already in mind and will wait to see if this theory proves correct. But as to the second suspect, he has no ideas yet.

Dodo quietly waits in his hiding place hoping that he is an invisible as he feels he is. If he stands very still, people often mistake him for a stuffed bird. He closes his eyes and trys to listen to the sounds around him. He gently tries to sniff (which isn't easy for a bird) the air to see if there is a scent. What is Scar up to? Who is he meeting and why? Hopefully we will not find another body this time.

Dodo began to mentally inventory the contents of his pockets. Handcuffs, pepper spray, pocket watch (one must always know the time), matches, and several other usless items. If someone can just detain the quarry, Dodo is confident that he can handcuff them in time to prevent being injured. Unfortunately, he has no idea where the key for the handcuffs might be, and hopefully the person he uses them on won't mind spending a lot of time in them.

Dodo hears a slight noise coming from the left of his location. Is it Kaa, or Scar, or someone else who has the same idea? He wills his mind to quite and waits patiently to see if he hears the noise again.

*OOC Can you guess just one of the killers or do you have to guess both?
