It was posted in a UK Disney pin group. Here's the pic that was posted.

I think she looks pretty good actually. I've seen way worse :/ I love her hair in this one, and actually I love the look on her face just because it's different from just about every other Ariel pin I've seen. Just a different look for her pins and I really like it. Man, I really hope I can snag one!
 
Yeah, I've read that it isn't a jumbo either and when you look at the pin in comparison to the plate in the photo below:

The pin doesn't look all that big. You have to remember that at that angle, the pin looks even bigger than it will be so I don't think it is a jumbo. The price (which is equal to $40 USD) seems way to high to me as well. The box definitely would not increase the price THAT much. Something is...for lack of a better term...fishy with this pin.

That being said, I agree that her face is a bit off, but I love the way her hair looks (it's so detailed) too much to let something as small as her face ruin it for me ^_^

So what's the deal with Disney Store UK? I see this pin is still posted there. Isn't this the same pin that was just sold at D23?

200 released at D23 and remaining 100 will be released online to UK.
 
No not 100 for the UK, 100 to be split between France, Germany and UK. And see if it 'accidentally' is released early on the France site 'by mistake' like the Dreams pin I think that might end me.
