MY Knights in shiney Pin Armor stories for today, there are 3 of them....

Docfish2u: This Endlessly kind man (and his awesome wife!) never cease to amaze me. They sent pins for my Zap Mayhem. They send me random Zaps regularly, and usually of pins from my want list. They have sent pins for my little girls collections. They randomly zap people all over this Forum! They genuinely care about the people here on DPF, and regularly inquire about my little girls. I love them dearly, and no matter the distance, I consider them great friends!

Congrats on your Knighthood Sir David! And the honorable title of Court Baron! Excellent!

My next Nominee, is someone I have not seen listed here as yet. Goofy_Moe.
Moe and his wife Rebecca are truly wonderful people! Very kind, thoughtful and intelligent Always come up with new ways to help others. Putting together pin games and donations for a good cause. I was astounded when they put together a donations game for a fellow DPF member. And now they are trying valiantly to put funds together to improve our forum! And I shall never forget how they helped me attain that AWESOME pin for my Christmas Gift Auction.

And my 3rd Story of a great Knight for today: GBDB4ever.
This wonderful couple (Greg and Debbi) Have done so much for so many people here on DPF I was actually surprised they had not been mentioned yet. I see the "Thank you for the zap" threads about them regularly. Their generosity and kindness appears to have no boundaries!

Hmmm... I have other stories but I shall hold them until later. This thread makes me so happy when I read it!

For knighthood I nominate:

I wasn't active in the pin community before, mainly residing in the Other Disney Collectibles forum. Psycho_Pixie (Kristine) helped me get started last December after I appeared in Chat, answering all my newbie questions about pins, identification, what to look for in scrappers and guided me through setting up PinPics, which without her I wouldn't have got involved in the world of pins :salute: (also she should be noticed for her efforts in deflecting drama :lol

What with the Diamond Edition being released this fall I heard that there might be new Little Mermaid pins coming out at the Soda Fountain later this year!!! (If you can't tell, I'm a huge Ariel fan). I really didn't know how to get hold of them as I'm in the UK and it's harder to get any of the US pins. But gis (Garret) was so kind and generous.. I mean, some people have tried taking advantage of me due to my newbie status, so it's good to have someone you can rely on.

We worked out a pretrade for one of the new mermaid pins coming out, not the marquee or the surprise. I just sent him the UK Tangled Gondola, the glowing one with the lanterns, and the Rapunzel paris PTN that I got from a friend. I can't wait until Christmas to get my pins. He is so helpful to people across the pond. :hsd:

I don't nominate, but I vote for a promotion of Docfish2u. He should be like...Grand Duke or something.

He's the most amazing person I've met. And not just pin related...he helped my grandma and I out in hard time's, he made sure we had something for Christmas when we didn't. And he has adopted us as family, and treated my grandma with more love then anyone else I know here at home has. He's an amazing person. (Now I'm crying. Don't look at me ;A


I also just want to say I love so many people. BugcatcherJenna , Jonjay , Ashkai , Milky and Lalalaaana are super freaking ammmmmaaaazzi iinngggg people. Every time I talk to them or trade or anything...I just..Idk. I loves you guys ;A;

And and for Fireheadfred for making me feel special when I'm not.

I see he has already been nominated, but I nominate TheOtherSteve again for his literally INSANE acts of kindness towards me and many many others here on DPF!

I remember when I first got to DSF in the summer for the Cinderella release, oh man I was SO scared, literally... everyone was like staring at me (but I do realise I was walking down the middle of an encampment and was a new face LOL) , I felt so uncomfortable... then somebody shouts 'Princess Jasmine!'- I turn around and see caligirlUCR who I'd met at a previous pin meet, and she says that Steve was looking for me... I turn around and there he is! I felt so much more relaxed after I'd been introduce to everybody at DSF, and Steve made my first DSF experience a great one! Fast forward to PTN, and I got introduced to a ton of people there, too! Not even gonna mention the insane amount of pins he has so kindly picked up for me, and the grail zaps I've been blessed enough to receive- Steve, you completely utterly ROCK! :rock: Steve, David and Darris should be the 3 Grail Zap Musketeers! :rofl:

Another knighting coming soon!

We see that there are many many more Noble and Honorable folk being nominated for Knighthood.

We also see that some are in need of great Title's for their incredible feats of kindness.

Our Royal plan shall be for another knighting Ceremony in the near future. We must decide what Titles shall be given unto those deserving of special recognition.

This thread rules! I don't guess I have any "friends" on the forum yet, since I'm not on so much, but everyone I've talked to so far has been awesome! I'd like to second (third? Fourth?) a nomination for tiggermickey. Judy was my first trade in here, and even though I was new, she had no problem setting me up for a trade, with what turned out to be my favorite pin I own so far. From one Hoosier to another, huzzah for Judy!!!
 
It has been brought to my attention that some of those who are Knighted, or going to be Knighted wish to serve on another Court. I wish all Forum Folk to understand that I am only "Knighting" and bestowing titles, I am not forcing or claiming anyone for my personal Court.

If Thy wish is to serve upon the Court of Snows please go here

If one wishes to serve upon the Court of Snows, one has only to ask. All personages are free and able to make a choice of what court they may wish to serve. Also all those Knighted may decide upon a "coat of Arms" for their banner, shield and household.

I am also determining how to handle the knighthoods/nominations of those with Royal title. Such as "Lost Sun Princess" and "Prince Eric"...

Mary is one of the most honest, kind, generous and thoughtful people I've ever came to contact with. She pulled the Enchanted marquee out of her personal collection only because she knew I needed it. She could've done that for just about anyone and could've gotten anything she wanted but instead she did it for me because she knew I would've loved it. The thought and generosity of this gal is absolutely incredible and in my eyes she's the Oprah of this hobby.
 
I also nominate GIS (Garret)
Garret is such a good trader and a friend. I remember one we were trading at the park and one of the fellow traders at the park had a Dumbo marquee which I really needed. She wanted either a Beauty and the Beast beloved tale or a "little something special". I'll admit the trader was a bit nasty looking and nobody had a BATB BT so Garret took one for the team and got me my Dumbo marquee. Garret your act of kindness and bravery will forever hold a special place in my heart and I'll forever be grateful
 
I would also like to nominate Starry_Solo, she has helped me in a number of matters concerning the US side of things, not only on the forum but elsewhere too.
I am also nominating her on behalf of others who have ever been on the receiving end of her frequent pin pickups as well as her regular contributions on new pin releases. She is the Secret Hero of Chi- the forum
 
I would like to add to the list Donna M.:angel: She has always help a person get the pins they need if she can, and has given pins to poeple to help them out.

Agreed Donna is a one of a kind. I don't think nice ever met someone as generous, fair and humble as Donna. I wouldn't be where im at right now if it weren't for Donna and her family. For those of you that don't know her you guys are missing out

I see they have already been officially knighted, but I just want to say these two are definitely #1 in my book:

docfish2u was the first one to do an amazingly massive and generous trade with me, proving that pin trading IS fun, and not just about people acquiring bits of metal for themselves. I will never forget it. Since then, he has continued to be one of the most generous and selfless, and always has a kind and encouraging word.

TheOtherSteve also never ceases to amaze me with his kindness and generosity. I feel very fortunate to call him my friend, and always look forward to his texts everyday!
