DSF Ironman Update
Those Hollywood streets are trouble. Look what happened to my girl lindsay Lohan.....hooking for pins is just not right. But these pins are hot, manly, and sexy I wouldn't mine hooking for them
This post is the best... Reaching Disney Noir Calliber...
Wait where is our beloved noir, I know I saw him lurking the alley this morning...
I think this person should be kicked off this board and the people he is selling to on this board should stop buying from him.
Hey being that this is me and my husbands first time going to DSF where should we park?
They originally were gonna do 30:1, so only 6 of the 6:30 line would have made it. Overheard Ed and the cops say that.
After they decided 20:5 the overnighters sent people from their line to cut into the 6:30 line so they'd take up spots for the 6:30 people. 1 got caught and sent back, 2 made it through, in front of me.
Thats not right I would have called it out, actions like this don't help anyone.. I think it was the I want the first 100 wristbands. There is no excuse for such behaviour
OK, I'm curious..... and I'll ask here, rather than start a new thread, but I suppose a new thread could be started "if need be." Every single solitary comment thus far has been about the pins. Makes sense, I get it. But what about the EVENT? I've been looking forward to tomorrow's event - as I'm certain many have - for weeks (maybe more). I was going to try for the 1pm wristband today but hope (not surprisingly) is fading. Because I wanted to come tomorrow and sit and maybe, hopefully, trade. If nothing else, at least I could buy my set of IM3 pins (for collection or trade). But if I can't buy the pins then I'm not sure I see the point in dragging myself up and out at the buttcrack of dawn for the event.
Yes, I could still trade for pins..... but how likely is that? How many are going to buy and run? LOTS! And those that don't - how many aren't going to superinflate (which I understand) the "trade value" of the pins on the spot?
So drag out, maybe get a marquee, and sit for 3 hours watching other folks oogling their prizes without much hope of trading. How frustrating is that? And at that time of day? Am I being a pessimist? Yes, but also a realist. I have a much better chance of trading at MyDPins in a few weeks. (At least now I guess I could buy some ice cream for breakfast and get a pin.)
Sorry, don't mean to ramble, this is just pretty new to me. I've been trading a long time and I'm still coming to grips with the new competitive disadvantage I'm at regarding the new DSF releases. But to essentially miss out on a trading event is just a little shy of canceling a birthday party. It's a little heartbreaking.
I just wonder if anyone else has even considered the event tomorrow morning or if it's simply all about the pin release.

They will likely still have the DSF trading event and a separate line for it. Unfortunately, they have yet to communicate that essential bit of information to the people who only want to trade. I suspect, you can simply go in and trade, since you won't have a wristband to buy pins, but they need to clarify where traders need to go specifically. <shakes head and rolls eyes at DSF>
Please someone can somebody give me status on the lines. I'm halfway there and I need to know if its worth it to drive out there or not
