How silly. You can't be excited about a movie if you don't know how to spell a character's name?
 
People that live in SoCal often get opportunities to view movies before they come out. I saw Wreck-It Ralph almost 2 months before it was released. I knew instantly I wanted to be a completist. I'm sure people on here, the DSF PTE raffle winner, a few WDI employees, etc will get to see a screening. So some will know what happens, who the villain is, the sleeper hit character, etc.
 
I'm thinking we may collect the DSF set and maybe go for an opening day pin. But if the variety of characters and poses is bad, then there won't be much incentive to keep buying the same pin over and over again.

I think most people will try to collect and hold the first few rounds of releases, as a point of speculation; hoping that it will join the ranks of Tangled, Up, and Little Mermaid. If the reception is luke warm, then I predict the pins will flatten out and be on the lower end of average for trade and sale.
 
I wish it hadn't taken me ages to watch WIR... oh well. Anyhow where Frozen is concerned, I'm quite interested in knowing who the villain is.
 
Just don't look at Tumblr, IMDb, or the leaked storybooks and you should be good... Stupid tumblr and my curiosity spoiled the ending! But I still have questions about it and I still can't wait to see it. It still will be lots of fun to watch, and I'm sure I'll still be surprised!
 

You know the villain? Send me a PM! I want to know who it is, I don't mind spoilers, I knew King Candy was Turbo before watching WIR.
 
It's really not that hard to know their names though. If you were REALLY excited for it, you would take the time to learn. Just my personal opinion. I can't imagine wanting to spend money on something if I didn't know what the characters names were. To me, it would seem people are intending on buying it up "just in case" it gets popular, not because they are actually interested.
 
Uhhh...Alex...you may want to check your Kristoff spelling. But otherwise, Yes! I agree.

A couple of months ago I was looking at a Frozen fan group on deviantart and it laid the entire story out on the main page with no spoiler warning! :facepalm: After that I didn't bother trying to avoid spoilers and went ahead and read a couple of the books. Lol So though it may not be the ideal way of finding out what happens, it is possible to find out the bulk of it without having seen the movie.

I am sooo excited for the Frozen LE dolls, though! Ahhhh, I can't wait! >.< I am so insanely jealous of you Alex, besides the leaked pics of Elsa, we ain't seen nada... why is Disney hiding Anna away so well!? She is my favourite! <3




Anyways, back on topic! ^_^ I don't plan on being a Frozen completist by any means (yet.... :lol but I do want a few nice pins to represent Frozen within my collection... like the marquee and maybe the Jumbo pin coming out soon too ^_^

If I like her enough, I may collect Anna by herself... compared to Elsa she's so warm looking, I think that's what I don't like about Elsa (don't get me wrong though, I still love her looks!)... she's so cold, but then again that's the point. :lol: Haha! I can't wait to see how the pins pan out though, personally I think it MIGHT become another Brave (Disclaimer: I FREAKING ADORE BRAVE WITH ALL MY HEART!!!!!!!!) because honestly, nothing looks like it's gonna stop Tangled anytime soon... only add to it :lol: Is it me or is UP not even on par with Tangled recently?! :lol:

LOL I find it funny that you mentioned that especially since you did spell a character's name wrong yourself, Kristoph instead of Kristoff. Almost makes me think that you did it intentionally to prove a point haha. Please dont get me wrong I was not trying to be mean or anything I just thought it ironic that unfortunately it happened to your post hence why I find it funny, all because of the irony in it all. But that is a fair point that you raise and in your defense your favorite is Elsa and you spelt her name right.

I agree with you too in that I will just collect the pins that I like but with the dolls I will definitely be getting them.

Nahh please dont feel that way, everyone has made an *** of themselves, even I have done it so dont take it to heart because I dont think it was meant to be pointed out in a spiteful way as most people agree with you anyway. Besides you could always say you did it on purpose to prove a point! haha

It provided some light humor so look at it that way haha.

i cant spell. I have auto correct on my computer otherwise most of my posts would be unreadable. Names i am even worse with... elsa? elza? Kristoff? Kristoph? Christoph? heck, my name kristine is spelled a gazillion different ways. And my daugher!!1 OMG. everyone who knows me thinks i spelled her name wrong when i filled out the birth cert. lol aileen, not eileen... But I swear i spelled it the way i wanted it. hahahahaha.
