MG2:KILLER IN THE KINGDOM--the game starts

MG2:KILLER IN THE KINGDOM--the game starts
*As CChief Louie slowly floats through the attraction he keeps an eye out for any suspicious characters. He suddenly notices movement behind a stack of barrels, but then whoever it was quickly disappears from view.*

*Continuing on thrugh each new scene, King Louie really hopes this case ends quickly. He is tired and needs some rest. Suddenly the same character posp out from behind a ladies dress.*

*Turning to a detective sitting behind him.* "Did you see that? Slow the boat."

*Louies boat pulls up to shore and they tie off the rope. Louie gets out and signals for the others to search the area, but quietly. *

*Suddenly they are interrupted by a pesky parrot.*

SQUAWK...NO CLUE....NO CLUE......LOUIE HAS NO CLUE

Anton Ego slowly walks up to the flying carpets as he sees the last of several detectives hurrying off with chit chat of pirates. After staring a few moments in their direction, Anton changes his attention to the roped off attraction quickly being cleaned by monkeys. He stands for awhile before drawing out his spectacles and a note book. Placing the glasses on the end of his nose, he glances up and jots down a few notes. Putting the pen away, Anton stands in place solemnly staring ahead.

While Chip is searching for any leads he spots a group led by Chief Louie pass its way by his current location. Not too far behind is an empty boat. Jumping in Chip takes in everything again from his quick run through earlier. He then notices the other boat has docked onto the nearby town. Jumping onto the set, he is able to hear the Barker parrot squak "Louie has no clue."

noticing that everyone is suspecting kaa of foul play, Caterpillar decides that sitting and smoking isnt solving much and decides to head over toward the other detectives. jumping on the empty boat that chip just snagged, caterpillar ( aka cater) begins to start smoking his hookah and thinks to himself
"YyYyYy would anyone want 222222 kill aaAaAaA princess, what RrrRRrrr they after?"

slowly he starts to survey the area, and notices the pesky parrot. He slips away into his cocoon until the parrot leaves the area and snatches him for his dinner.

Aurora has gotten out of her boat and is searching for Kaa. Maybe he has wondered into one of these barrels. Aurora calls out "Kaa are you here?" Aurora does not think that Kaa was directly responsible for Jasmine's death but he may have been the last person to see her alive -- interesting how he didn't mention that. The same way he wanted to keep the feather to himself - hmmmmmm.

Basil jumps from the boat upon Louie's orders. But before he can begin searching, the parrot's call gets everyone's attention.

After the parrot's message, Basil says, "Curious. I wonder if it's real or another of these elaborate animatronics. Either way, it's certianly been programmed by the killer or one of it's agents."

Rafiki having arrived at the scene of poor Jasmine's death, is still hunting for clues. He goes off behind the attraction to see if there is anything there as none of the other detectives appear to be looking there. Not finding anything he decides to rejoin the group, as he returns to the front of the attraction, he cannot find the other detectives, they have all gone off and no one has told him where they have gone.

"This is no good, I'll need to contact the chief to find out what is going on"

Rafiki takes out his iPhone and calls Chief Louie. No answer, weird, maybe they are in an area of poor coverage. I'll try again in a bit, oh well I'll just keep looking round this area.

As Rafiki starts to look for any more clues, a group of guests come up to him and ask for a picture to be taken, before he knows it there is a queue all wanting their picture taken with him.

Rafiki thinks to himself, I hope someone can come and rescue me soon

Abu was zooming along through adventureland looking around for something to do. Not seeing Aladdin or Jasmine in their usual spot he urges carpet deeper into adventureland. He sees nothing noteworthy at the Magic Carpets or Jungle Cruise but something does catch his eye near the pirates attraction. Abu points and Carpet makes a beeline to where Abu is pointing.

OOC Sorry Wally, will do my best to catch up and explain later.

*Chessie, who was curled up on the front of the boat with most of the detectives, looks up when the parrot announces that Louie doesn't have a clue. The Cat already had been thinking about the picture of Kaa and Jasmine and he wasn't quite convinced that everything was or is as it appears.*

Chessie (a grin slowly spreading across his face): 'Is that parrot speaking of literal or metaphorical clues, do you suppose? If it's the former, we're all sadly lacking in that department at the moment and anyone who seriously considers a potentially altered or coincidental photo sent from an unknown source as a clue probably is lacking in the latter as well as the former.'

*Still grinning, Chessie returns to scanning the attraction for whatever reason the detectives were sent to the attraction in the first place.*

Dodo, on his trusty transport, does not have to wait for a boat on his arrival at POTC. They float through the ride where he notices Louie, Chip and several others docked at the side of an attraction. Directing his transport (the bird) to the side, he hops off. He hears a squawk from the parrot that sounds a lot like "Louis has no clue". He immediately becomes suspicious of the parrot and tries to engage it in further conversation. He is unable to get the parrot to continue speaking so he decides to listen in to what the detectives are saying. Apparently Louie has a photo of Kaa engaged in some uncompromising poses with the late Jasmine. Dodo is curious to hear what his explanation would be. He doesn't think Kaa would actually stoop to murder, but an accidental death - maybe.

Dodo knows that pirates are not a friendly bunch and hopes that they everyone is able to get out of the POTC attraction in one piece. Another murder would be devastating for everyone. Dodo begins to search around the barrels and other mannequins in the attraction for any sign of footprints or blood drops. He takes out his trusty pipe and lights it. Finds his magnifying glass in his pocket and begins to search for clues. He sees several footprints in the dust, but none look like Kiara might have come that way. Hold on a minute, he sees an area of disturbed items and realizes this may be the scene of a struggle. Did one of the pirates try to abduct Jasmine and somehow she was injured or killed in the process? Dodo decides he better get some good advice and tries to signal to one of the other detectives.

*ooc I'm not sure if I am supposed to solve the murder or find Kiara or both. Can someone help me?

Kaa suddenly snaps to attention, did he just hear something? Is someone moving towards him inside the ride?

A moment later the fainest of strains is heard breifly in the unloading area. "Darth Vaders theme" plays ever so briefly before and electronic voice speaks.
" Wireless voice activated interface active, You have one message from Lab. Playback authorized?"
"Certainly, letsss hear what the good techniciansss have to sssay",
he replied back to the glowing box on his back, while slighly larger than a 4x8 letter, it allowed him quite the range of tech, its crowning glory was a video playback that allows the viewer to see the image in infared, the same way Kaa could see heat signatures, so a non snake could see what he saw!!
The fact the lab contacted him so rapidly is quite a pleasant suprise to Kaa, the labs at DFI are notoriously slow, while almost infallable in thier results, they never work fast enough to appease a detective on the hunt for a murderer!!
The message while encouraging slightly only fueled even more questions and postulations, the one line of message was simple and conciese.
" DNA evidence found on the feather confirms, Jasmines murderer is male, Identity at this time unkown further analysis continuing."

" Ssssooo we now know the gender of the killer, at leassst that rulesss out 50 percent of the population, letsss ssssee if the ressst of our assssembled Inssspectorsss and novicesss have faired any better inssside the attraction. "

As the other detectives are doing their own speulating, the barker parrot begin singing to the ever present potc melody,

" Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Parrot's Life For Me
I warble, twitter, I twiddle, I pipe
Drink up, me hearties, Yo Ho
I whistle, and cackle, and gaggle, and gripe
Drink up, me hearties, Yo Ho

No Clue, No Clue, Louis has no Clue
I bark like a beagle, and meow like a cat
Drink up, me hearties, Yo Ho
I imitate cannons, or just sit and chat
Drink up, me hearties, Yo Ho

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Parrot's Life For Me
I fun loven fowl, and really a pep
Drink up, me hearties, Yo Ho
A feather old salty, quite fond of a nit
Drink up, me hearties, Yo Ho

*random warbles*

No Clue, No Clue, Louis has no Clue
A pirate, a parrot, a stuffed legged cat,
Drink up, me hearties, Yo Ho
Aye but I'm loved by mummy and dad
Drink up, me hearties, Yo Ho".

"Hmm, it seems that the parrot will imitate surrounding persons. Does this mean that killer has passed this way?"

OOC*The fact that the killer is male comes from the trivia YES/NO question asked. The question was 'IS THE KILLER FEMALE' and I answered NO. For newbies please remember that the FEATHER may or may not have come directly from the killer. it could have come from something or someone the killer associates with.
By searching for Kiara(who may or may not be found this game) the clues will lead to the killer. Pleas feel free to ask the veterans for help. I avoid giving help during the games so as not to influence the game since I know the killer's identity.
OOC* Chip's song is selfinspired and not an official cue from me.But a good song none the less and it doesn't effect the scene

OOC* I have a VERY busy day tomorrow and may not get to post as much, but remember that the post count will end tomorrow. Also that some info has been sent out.

OOC- Sorry for confusion, there wasn't anything really happening at the moment so I just did a bit of improvisation. It's an actual song that is found in the ride at WDW iis found in the more recent potc attraction albums. I believe this is the ride sequence it's found at(maybe slightly off).

*Chip is contemplating the saying of the animatronic bird when his black-berry phone rings, the caller reveals herself as Gadget.

"Chip speaking," {Hi Chip, I just got back from the inventors symposium, how is the case so far?} The leader of the Rescue Rangers relates the current situation. {That's horrible... Dale is out on a date with Clarice, but I have no idea where Monty and Zipper could be, you know he doesn't like to carry a cell-phone on him. We can head out as soon they get back...} "I think for the time being that you guys should stay put, it's a dangerous investigation but there are already alot of detectives investigating, not to mention lodging is limited" {Okay Captain, but keep us informed of things, we maybe able to research any of the clues you find.}

*As the leader of the Rescue Rangers ends his call with Gadget, he notices a text message from Kaa. "It seems that the Killer has been identified as Male. Thanks again, we owe you one."

* Chip tries to return finding more clues, but then overhears talk about Kaa being seen with the dead princess earlier that day along with incriminating photos. He shrugged the thoughts of Kaa as the Killer to the side without any other evidence to support it, not to mention Kaa didn't really strike him as a princess murderer. Chip then thinks back to his days back at Disney University, for some strange reason the late princess tended to really attract serpent characters.

Abu and Carpet head to the outside stage area across from the Pirates attraction. Abu hops off Carpet and scampers up on stage before Carpet has had a chance to land. Working quickly so as to not be caught, Abu ducks behind some barrels and begins gathering all the shiny objects he can find. Noticing Carpet floating near the stage, Abu points to Carpet and then the stage floor. Understanding, Carpet lands and makes like a rug. Abu then becomes fully engrossed in his activity and doesn't notice any of the other detectives entering the Pirate attraction.

Dodo is somewhat relieved to find that the gender of the killer has been decided. Male, well, that eliminates a lot of suspects. Dodo is glad to see that Chip is still investigating after his encounter with Kaa. Dodo is trying to find leads of his own, but so far, no luck. Maybe he just need to take a nap and see how thinks look when he wakes up. Summonning his rider, he floats out of the POTC attraction and notices more footprints that don't look familiar. He takes more photos with his camera. Back on his transport, he finds a lovely tree and nestles down for a nap.

Having followed the rest of the detectives over to POTC Pumba is happy to hear we know the gender of the killer.

"So we are looking for a male this time. I didn't think that the ice queen would mix with another female."

MPH is sitting on the boat with many of the other detectives when the parrot states Chief Louie doesn't have a clue, and chuckles quietly at Chessie's comment about the parrot speaking literally or figuratively. MPH starts looking around for clues when his DSI Phone buzzes, so MPH pulls it out. The killer isn't female, interesting. MPH writes "Not Female" in his notebook, then continues looking for clues.

OOC: Oops, turning off my signature now.

Aurora hears Kaa's phone asking for authorization and immediately goes over to where she heard the noise. She shines her flashlight around in the dark corner and sees Kaa. "There you are. Kaa you have some explaining to do." Aurora picks Kaa up and sets him on a barrel in where there is actual lighting. Aurora shows Kaa the photos that King Louie found from earlier that day. "What exactly was going on here?"

MPH starts to feel a little conspicuous dressed like Indiana Jones in PotC, so he changes to blend in with the surroundings better:

MPH continues the quest for clues and to find anything that looks out of place. Unable to see anything where he is standing, MPH climbs to the highest point for a different perspective and begins scanning the scenery from his new vantage point.

Pumba hopes they find some clues to Kiara's whereabouts soon. He is very concerned for his little furry friend.

"We need to keep in mind that this is both a cubnapper and a murderer."

leisurely investigating, cater decides to get a better look at footprints spotted in the near by area and is distracted when he overhears aurora questions kaa. Soon he discovers that the gender of the killer is male and he begins to think of suspects that would dare to harm the poor cub.

blowing smoke into the air cater thinks to him self, " WHooOooOoo hasSsSSss featherRrRrRssss"
he begins to smoke into deep contemplation and think to himself, maybe it is someone who hangs around feathers.....

he begins to hum to himself and wait for other detectives to walk by in the same direction, for fear of being alone with a hungry parrot flying around...

*Looking around, Chessie starts to consider why the Parrot would be going on about Louie having no clue ... or about clues at all. And after that extremely reworking of the POTC melody, Chessie's suspicions about the bird are even sharper.*

Chessie (to nobody in particular): 'If a parrot is parroting back something he has been programmed to say, is there a reason for it?'

*Without rethinking it, Chessie quickly disappears from the boat and reappears next to the animatronic parrot. Sure enough, clutched in the parrot's hand is a small scroll. Chessie puts on gloves from his DSI kit, carefully removes the scroll and reads aloud the following poem from it:

YOU WANT HER BACK THEN DO AS I SAY
THIS IS THE PRICE YOU HAVE TO PAY
BRING JADIS BACK, GIVE ME HER STONE
I HATE BEING ALL ALONE
